Bottom left is the Panoramic photo printed by Montclair 1 Hour Photo that I added to my travel wall.

I recently had a panoramic photo taken using my iPhone and I wanted to have a print of it made. Many of the photo places don't have panoramic photo printing available and the ones online will take a week or so to have it shipped. Montclair 1 Hour Photo can have photos made in less than an hour. I came on Sunday around 2:30, they quickly airdropped my panoramic photo to their iMac, found the best size for me which was 8x24, printed and framed my photo in 30 minutes. The staff were friendly and great to work with. I absolutely recommend having photos printed here.

Just a great, simple experience. I walked in to get a passport photo and was finished with my photos in less than 20 minutes. The staff were very courteous and made everything extremely easy.

I wanted to share pictures with a dear friend who isn't big on digital photos via screens. I picked the best 12 and uploaded jpegs (iPhone, regular and panoramas, DSLR regular pix.) I picked 4 X 6 for 3:2 and cropped iPhone pix, two 4 X 18 inch panoramas, for the biggest, and 4 X 12 for the medium pano. Picking sizes was painless and I got easy fits for the panos- just kept making them wider until all the vertical info fit. Paid by paypal, wrote a shopping list and stopped in before the grocery store to see how long it would take- the last panoramas were coming out right then. Less than an hour, start to finish. Nice people, excellent prints, easy web site. Perfect.

Yes. Our phone and internet service has been down the past 5 days. They are working on it

What's a good email where I can send a Photo to see if I can have it printed and picked up either this Friday or Saturday before Christmas? Thanks

The best and faster printing is done through our website. Orders go straight to the printer queue. We are very backed up on emails orders as someone manually has to write up the orders and move them to the printer queue. At this busy time orders…

Do you guys develop film rolls from Seattle PhotoWorks? Apparently it uses ECN-2 chemistry but not sure if C41 can be used instead?

It depends. Bring it in and we can look up the code. Most of the early versions were ECN. We have a chart of all the numbers that are safe to do in C41.

Do you do photo restoration?

Hi. Yes we do them in-house. Bring in the photo and we will give you an estimate.

I saw online that they had the two cameras in stock (although, if you are particular about whether there are kit lenses or not, you should call ahead) so felt pretty good about dropping in on a Saturday. There were a few people speaking to all available staff so I did wait a bit, but soon enough I was able to speak to two separate staff members. The first may have been a manager and was able to tell me upfront what was in stock and what was in the area (other location or in their warehouse - would need to be transferred). I asked if I could hold the cameras, either with the showroom cameras or whichever way. They had an XS20 on display (similar weight) and pulled an XM5 from the back. Just from the weights, I could tell that the XM5 was the right choice for me. The other salesperson was able to pair me with a Fujinon 27mm pancake lens that would keep my unit light and compact and a UV lens for protection. I will say that anybody coming in should do their research - the suggestions were helpful and already in line with what I had been planning to buy, but there are other options that are more budget friendly that they may not offer. I mentioned that I was going on a cruise to Alaska soon and asked about rentals, and he recommended that I call a few weeks in advance to see what they had in inventory to rent out. I will definitely do so! He said to aim for a 50-200mm and mentioned lensrental.com if they did not have what I needed in stock. Overall I was very pleased with their service. I would definitely come back for my other camera needs.

1 star; absolutely terrible experience…read more I called Mike's Camera ahead of time to confirm that a specific camera was in stock. The employee confirmed it twice and told me they would reserve it. Based on that assurance, I drove 50 minutes to the store. When I arrived, the entire staff seemed completely confused. Nobody knew about the reservation, they couldn't find the camera, and they kept asking one another who had reserved what. Eventually, someone remembered the phone call and brought out the "reserved" camera..only for it to be the wrong model. Despite confirming twice that the correct camera was available and wasting nearly two hours of my time driving there and back, nobody even apologized. They simply said, "Yeah, we only have this model." This store is disorganized, careless, and completely disrespectful of customers' time. If you call to confirm inventory, apparently you still cannot trust the information they give you. I would never return or recommend Mike's Camera to anyone.

I was tasked to print a photo and have it framed within a couple of days, tops. I went to The Lab and met Jennifer. What a lovely woman and helpful, accommodating, friendly, creative, and suggestive. A real pro, she was able to tell me what sizes would work according to what we have and what photoshopping can do. We decided on something , I ran to get a frame, and she put the whole thing together, charging hardly anything for all the things-- rush job, putting the finished product into the matting and frame, etc. I also met her partner (I assume), another woman, and Jennifer told me, "We are a small business, it's just she and me." Also, I wanted to keep the camera, and I heard that if you get them developed at the drugstores, they ship the cameras to someplace else to get them developed. It was my first time developing film, but the worker was very helpful. She explained to me the different packages and options that they offered. She recommended the develop + print package and to add on the digital scans, as I wanted both. She also helped me decide which photo paper I wanted on the prints; matte or glossy. I paid $33.57 for developing the film, prints, and digital scans. Since this was my first time, I did think it was a bit pricy; not knowing how much people usually pay. I only had 12 prints lol. I received an email stating that my order was ready for pick up; it took 3 days. I received the digital scans in 2 days. The photos came out sooooo goood!!! And it was nice not knowing how they were going to turn out! It was very nostalgic. I recommend Photolab for your prints!

After some research and testing, they recommended a plate that they were "pretty sure" would fit my piece of kit and they put it aside. 30 minutes later, after a bit of a drive, I had the plate in hand for a really great price.
