He helped our group get situated and ensured we had the absolute best experience possible. ++ The simulator experience offers a variety of courses to play and a variety of styles to best suit your group. ++ While we chose to golf during our visit there were many more play options including lacrosse, hockey, zombie dodgeball, and more! They also offer up ping pong tables and axe throwing - so go ahead and try something new! ++ The fine folks at OverFlyte offer up a drool-worthy table-side food and drink menu. Renting a golf bay is incredibly cost effective since the cost does not change based on how many people you have (you can have up to 8). Wow, my yesterday's visit to this historic park was so mesmerizing. It's because of their annual…read more(?) "Bright Nights" (originally a lantern festival.) It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.

I wouldn't mind this spot for another social or other types of events. My wife and I ended our Denver trip with some weekday mini golf. On a sweltering hot summer day in…read moreDenver, this was the perfect activity to have some fun and stay cool. Puttshack is a hip spot with a number of 9-hole mini golf courses inside. They have a full bar and serve food, but we just chose to play golf. The scoring is the coolest part here. The balls have chips in them, and the course knows where your ball is at all times. It scores the round for you, and each hole has additional challenges called "supertubes". Scoring is backwards from traditional golf, so you'll want as many points as you can to win. The pricing on weekdays is super reasonable here, and that's why we delayed our visit to our last day in Denver. The other days we were in town fell on a weekend, and the prices felt kind of outrageous for weekend golf. If you can, I would certainly stick to visiting Puttshack on the weekdays. It was also nearly empty during our visit, which made it much more enjoyable. I would return to a Puttshack for the fun gameplay and cool scoring mechanics. Just be sure to watch the pricing tiers based on the day of your visit!
