The breaking point was when the internet became unreliable because the power was unreliable and the stove stopped working. I contacted Alex and he said he could send someone over that same day. He was transparent about the pricing before the job began. When his team member (Ming) came over he was thorough and transparent about what he found and Alex came over to assess himself. Turns out one of the main line coming into the house on the verge of burning out and thus the other 110v line was trying to compensate which caused it to also overload. This explained why the 240 outlets were not functioning. Our electrical was just old and the age caught up. He gave a reasonable estimate and fixed it by the end of the day. In passing, I also mentioned that although our stove worked, it seemed that it's power fades as I use it more and he was able to determine that line was under gauged for the load and was a fire hazard. Looking up the prior setup before my recent renovation, I see that they had incorrectly reduced the stove line from 40amps to 30amps. Alex and team was able to solved that problem as well, giving me updates along the way and providing very easy to understand explanations. This was an annoying problem plaguing us for years! Again, the pricing is very reasonable and the quality of work is exceptional. I highly recommend Alex Tong and his team.

Our top priority was the safety of our home and family as we had a less than a 1 year old at home. What we discovered post-completion was frankly terrifying, and the company's subsequent non-response is completely unacceptable. Alex completely brushed off our concerns Early in the project, we raised concerns when we discovered a cosmetic "shortcut" (a drywall patch done with toilet paper instead of proper material. they literally stuffed toilet paper in the wall then laid joint compound on top). We were personally assured by Alex that even though there were minor appearance issues, they would take absolutely no shortcuts on the actual electrical work. A few months later, while I was installing a simple light fixture, my father and I discovered an unmarked hot wire. In this switch box, a white conductor was being used as the LINE-Hot wire (constantly energized). This unmarked wire could have easily been mistaken for a neutral by anyone working in the box, which could have led to someone getting killed. When I informed Alex, he said I shouldn't be doing wiring, and admitted it should have been taped. He offered to come over and tape the wire (I already did it myself). No apology at all. It feels like they took short cuts throughout the job- if they failed to properly mark a live wire in the first box we opened, we simply cannot trust the integrity of the rest of the expensive rewiring job. When it comes to the safety of your home and family, avoid this company.

Shad showed up and diagnosed my broken Viking kitchen hood fan motor as a broken switch!!! Best…read morenews I had this week. I'd already spoken to Viking Corp about getting any of the listed replacement parts for my 20 year old equipment and I was told that no motors or control panels were stocked in the US and none had been made in at least 6 years. The over-riding problem is that the fan switch is part of a computer-controlled panel which cannot be opened and fixed. It must be replaced. The immediate temporary fix is to run a 3' ext cord from the motor to a wall socket. So the rest of that will be a scavenger hunt and probably an out of the box final solution. So for my 1 hour fixed rate, Shad also repaired a ridiculously poorly installed set of back patio lights so that they are cleanly placed under the roof eaves and controlled by an existing switch. And then I just had him check garage and kitchen GFCI's and the circuit panels in case anything was deteriorating or didn't look right. I would be delighted to say how much I paid for these services. It was covered by his hourly rate, which is quite reasonable. Shad is the kind of person you want to get to know and whose expertise you need when the time comes. Smart, experienced, value-driven. The world needs more Shad's.

Brian was able to complete all the work, fix the outlet, and start investigating the lights. The thing I really liked about Brian was that he explained to me everything he did and why. He told me instead of calling him out for another half day to investigate the lights, I should try a few things first and went through some hypotheses (based on the investigations he already did). I can't imagine going anywhere else. Backstory: My first experience with Adary was actually in 2021 - I had just purchased a new washer/dryer and needed an additional outlet installed. They were the only ones at the time who were willing to do a virtual walkthrough on FaceTime for the estimate, and I was so impressed by that interaction that I hired them to do the job. Come 2026, I was now looking to replace all the recessed lights + under cabinet lights + outlets and switches in the apartment. My recent experience was just as positive as the first time around. Shai was so helpful, not only talking me through timing and pricing but also giving me their supplier's contact info so I could source the parts myself and avoid their 15% markup on materials. (You're openly telling me how I can save myself money?! That alone sealed the deal.) The team who came on site was also extremely thoughtful. Turns out the previous electrician who installed the old recessed lights (who will not be named but sadly also has high reviews on Yelp) actually installed them the wrong way - instead of replacing/modifying the existing cans so the lights would clip in, he caulked/glued the whole thing to the drywall to get them to stay in, which meant the Adary guys (Kevin & Marco) had to cut the old ones out of the ceiling and replace the existing housings before they could install the new ones. Even with all this additional work, they still managed to complete the job a full day faster than expected (I was quoted ~3 days and they finished in 2), which was a pleasant surprise as we had agreed to bill by the hour. In summary, every interaction I've had with Adary has been nothing but exemplary. If only they did work outside of electrical - I'd never go to anyone else!

Knocked out a kitchen can light switch while he was at it. All done in about an hour. No other electrician was able to figure it out the closet light kerfuffle, but Victor did! Turns out he has nearly 30 years of experience! Second visit, Victor and Francisco came out to remove a 6" recessed can light and splice onto the switch leg to power a new ceiling fan I'd had installed. Clean work, everything labeled, no loose ends. Done in about 2.5 hours. Rates are fair ($125/hr), they show up when they say they will, and Victor clearly knows residential electrical inside and out -- he doesn't guess, he diagnoses. He told me he could not get to my house until approximately 9:00 pm. He was very professional and even tried to help me for free, when he asked me to text him a picture of the fill valve. Unfortunately, his suggestion didn't work, so I needed him to come in person. When he arrived, he impressed me when he removed his shoes without being asked. I wasn't going to ask him to remove his shoes, as there was a water leak and the floor was just recently mopped. He replaced the fill valve effortlessly. I looked at my son, as we were struggling with removing the old fill valve. Leave it to a professional. He cleaned up the job area and I was charged a reasonable price. I would recommend this business without reservations.
