This place is not for the faint of heart but for foodies with open minds who are interested in Igorot cuisine.
Located in Baguio City. Place is quite small and in a rough place of town. Frequented by folks who want cheap, native ( Igorot ) cuisine. Wait staff friendly.
Ordered some pig cheeks, smoke meat, and a local delicacy. Meal came with house clear soup.
The pig cheeks were pre-boiled and a little chewy. The local meat delicacy was prepared the same way, pre-boiled to tenderize them. Both were fried in soy sauce and green onions... chili, calamansi (Philippine lime), and green onions.
The smoked meat was placed in the clear broth.

Okay. The smoked meat was better fried. Came with unlimited soup and red rice. Also had some other meat cooked to-go.
Total meal cost was less than $10.00 but left me full and so satisfied as I craved it.
I miss this kind of food as I was taught to appreciate it at a young age.
Like I said, due to the location and type of food, it's not for the faint of heart...
