Dust was falling onto our food from the light above us as we ate. Our waiter was rude and did not check in on our table after taking our order. Another server brought us our food. Everything here is great. Noise levels are usually high which makes it hard to carry on with a conversation with anyone while you're there. Service is usually fast and good. Too many interruptions while eating asking how everything is. How many times should you be asked? Once is enough for me. Food has always been good. Never disappointed. read more

Upon arrival our hostess felt the need to be saucy to my girlfriend over what she was wearing. It was uncalled for and made me feel the need leave before I was even sat. Although, our waiter/bartender was perfect to the point where I stopped caring about the hostess. He was friendly, personable, attentive and was quick to make a joke or two and even made recommendations. I also like how their kitchen is open until 12! Don't come here. I was getting negative vibes almost instantly. From when our hostess brought us from the entrance to our table, I was in shock of how rowdy this place seemed to be! The screaming children and the loud background noise, I found it hard to hear my friend who was only sitting across the table from me. The dining area is also crammed and hectic. If you dislike loud and crowded areas, this restaurant isn't for you. Now for the food. I ordered something simple, chicken fingers and fries and my friend ordered a burger and fries, nothing too complicated. After we sat and waited for a little over an hour for our food to come, it arrived, and I was in disgust. My fries were so old that they were hard, stale, and cold; they were only a little warm in the center of the pile. My chicken fingers were like the fries, old and cold. They must have been sitting for 30 minutes at least. It was repulsive. My friend's burger was the only thing that wasn't stone cold, his fries were like mine. We notified our server on this matter and they replaced our food but it took another 35 minutes for the new food to come out. We spent almost an hour and a half of our time there waiting for our food. So, the service here is okay, nothing to write home about. But between the atmosphere and the quality of food here, it's a good reason not to come here. read more

I've eaten at Montanas many times. I've had an overwhelming good experience with this location. Anytime my steak is under cooked the quickly rectify and once when I had a birthday and never got acknowledged the manager apologised and gave a nice gift certificate. I ate at this location last Friday with my family and our server was absolutely fantastic. I cannot remember his name for the life of me but he had a " radio " type voice and was super polite and did a great job checking up on us. I had the chicken mushroom dish and it was pretty good! I'm pretty disappointed that you no longer serve the quarter chicken meal though. All in all our meals were amazing and the service was top notch. read more

My family and I went for my twins 13th birthday and when we walked in we were told 45 min wait which was fine but when the text came through it was 60 min. we waited and waited and tables came available and they wouldn't join the tables for us to sit. I spoke to the girls after 45 min and they were rude and saucy and said they couldn't and people we walking in after us and sitting..to me the girls were doing this on purpose cause I was upset and spoke to them about the service. finally after 60 odd min we got up and walked out and still weren't seated..i did call the manager and told him how upset I was and he said he deal with it...at 8 pm at night my kids still never had a birthday supper...and I can promise you I will never go back to that restaurant again....the girls customer service was the pits...needless to say my kids birthday supper was ruined..Thanks Montanas read more

The service and food here is of excellent quality, and is even better then some other higher priced restaurants in the city. You have a choice of seating from booths, tables or even at the bar. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The food is always out in a timely-fashion and presentation is great. Twice I've ordered a veggie burger and twice over been given a regular burger. I'm not willing to give this place another chance. Always like it here. They know how to do a proper Blue Rare Steak. Some small mistakes with the meal, but the staff rectified it quickly.

Great food for the price your paying. I used to be a huge fan of the corn bread but since they've changed it I no longer order it unfortunately the new corn bread is not satisfactory. Waiting for a table isn't as bad as most places especially when they have a great electronic system that keeps it much more organized and fun with the animal sounds the machines make when your table is ready! I like the fact that the management is engaged with the customers as well as the regular staff it makes it feel like the company actually cares about their customers. If your deciding on an appetizer I would recommend the Kapow Shrimp ... absolutely delicious ! read more

One of my favourite spots for a business lunch. The menu variety is very good, with everything from the irresistible Firecracker burger to some very tasty and calorie-wise salads. The staff are always friendly and offer helpful suggestions on what to order, and service is consistently fast. I have eaten there many times and have yet to have a bad experience. read more

In terms of francise restaurants go Montanas is average. Portion size is generious, but I would rather a little less on the plate as well as on the bill. The food is pretty good, but nothing to blow you away. I had the ribs the last time I was there, they were not cleaned properly. read more

I've been to this restaurant several times, and I used to think Montana's was great. However this location has gone downhill recently. The food is limited to steak and ribs, and although they also have sandwiches, salads, etc., the alternatives to barbecue are pretty mediocre. The waitresses were extremely rude the last time I was there, and tended to glare when they walked by and get snappy while dealing with us. I don't intend to go back. read more
