We were charged $12.00 for two cheese sandwiches (Each one consisting of one cheese slice and two slices of bread),$5.00 for two cups of Coffee and $5.00 again for two refills ! Then, when my husband went to use his debit card to pay, he was informed that there is also a 3% charge for paying with a debit card ! We've eaten here several times and the food is great. The fish being a favorite. Great desserts as well. Always have had great service and very friendly waitresses. Outstanding food, service, and ambiance! For is home style & well plated. Server is a true professional giving warmth and timely service. The establishment is country with 3 rooms furnished with booths & tables, decor is appropriate farmhouse, and the cleanliness is prideful. We had lunch with him having a huge hot turkey (carved not deli) sandwich with sourdough toast and fries smothered in rich gravy. I had the 1/2 philly cheese steak with a cup of beef barley soup. Where do I begin? We read the comments and saw the 5 star rating and decided to give it a try. We asked the waitress about the special, stuffed peppers and also asked what another favorite was and we were told it was the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. So we decided to get both and split them, we'll, let me say we love food and have never left anything on our plates. This was not the case here, food was bland beyond, the stuffed peppers were filled with Hamburger which had no season at all, the mashed potatoes clearly had no cream, salt pepper or butter, I don't believe they were homemade as we were told. The Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, let's say that Kraft Mac and cheese has flavor, this did not. The chicken was old and breaded and hard like heated in the microwave, the only flavor it had was the hot sauce drizzle on the top. Both of us ended up sick the rest of the day, neither finished our meals and have to say that we won't return. read more

Best dining experience I have had in years. Tessa happily greeted us when my father and I came in. She had an uplifting attitude and took perfect care of us. The food was quick, fresh and delicious even though we just had burgers. I highly recommend this off the beaten path restaurant. Visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday and they all suggested Montana's, a small country style cafe with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, with a small town feel. Our server was excellent, and the food was delicious. We had chopped sirloin, roast beef sandwich (loaded with gravy ) and I had the "GodFather; hot Italian sausage with onions and peppers on a hoagie, served with a side of red sauce and french fries. Food was so so good; a true gem of a restaurant. Looked like family even came in to eat! Always a good sign. I will def request this again on our next visit back to Seneca, PA. read more

Driven by a thousand times and finally stopped to see why this place is always busy. It's a great little diner that screams small town America where the family still gets together for dinner. We had breakfast which was very good-not fancy gourmet just affordable home cooking. Staff was pleasant and having a good time--friendly and enjoyed their work...hmmm wish that was the case everywhere.
