What a great little place to meet up and play some board games while you enjoyed your coffee. They had so many in their cabinet to use while you were there to borrow. The restrooms were clean, and I loved all the antique tables and chairs in this place, it was so cozy, I wish I would've been hungry because I surely would've tried some of their things on their menu. They were perfect! Made to order with fresh ingredients. It hit the spot for a healthier handheld while traveling. They also offered fresh soup and hearty salads. Finally, every road trip needs a sweet treat so we grabbed some delicious homemade cookies for the road. There were also offerings of snacks like bagged chips and what looked like some locally made candies. The location is inside an older mall with not much foot traffic, however the cafe was very clean. But in a few short minutes Jeremy responded and said they do carry out orders unless there is a line waiting, then they couldn't promise. He gave a number to call for ordering. Upon calling the staff was friendly and helpful and said they would wait to put our order in as we were 30 min out and wanted our food hot. It was ready on arrival and were also able to get carry out beer. She included plastic ware in case we needed it. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The home fries were especially memorable -- perfectly cooked with just the slightest crispiness to them. I actually asked the waitress how they got them like that, and she told me they use panko. So good. The staff was very friendly, and the whole place had such a quaint, welcoming atmosphere. It felt like one of those little hometown restaurants you hope to stumble across on a long trip. Great food, great service, and just an overall really enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend.

The kitchen probably made a mistake as the receipt was right. I didn't want to bother our already stressed server as this was my second choice anyways. My partner ordered the whale of a cod dinner with tots and chili. The cod had too much crust but tasted good according to my partner. As a side, you can do the salad bar for an additional $3.99 which seems like a great deal! I would try this next time, was not in the mood for salad that day.
