Not the most gourmet meal but taste is on par and maybe a tad bit better compared to restaurants similar to this. We came on a Monday early evening for dinner as it was conveniently across the street from a car charging station. Our server was Steven was great and upbeat. After we came in a large group was assigned to him and he remained his upbeat self and continued to cracked jokes even though he seemed a little stressed and was running around. We ordered the pretzel sticks as an app and while it didn't look great, it tasted good. I ordered the Italiano with mac and cheese and I got the Italiano grilled cheese. The kitchen probably made a mistake as the receipt was right. I didn't want to bother our already stressed server as this was my second choice anyways. My partner ordered the whale of a cod dinner with tots and chili. The cod had too much crust but tasted good according to my partner. As a side, you can do the salad bar for an additional $3.99 which seems like a great deal! I would try this next time, was not in the mood for salad that day. read more

We were traveling through Pennsylvania and spent the night nearby. We wanted breakfast other than Hotel food. The restaurant is bright and cheerful. It is clean and well taken care of. Amy waited on us and she was very polite and friendly. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. I think it was one of the better breakfast places I have eaten. read more

I love a great salad bar and a good deal--and the Eat'n Park has BOTH! We stopped by this Eat'n Park when we were road-tripping in the Clarion area. It was convenient for us that they stay open late, open daily from 7am to 11pm. The salad bar stayed open until about 10pm, so FYI that it does get packed up a bit before close. It is a fantastic salad bar! It was well maintained, both clean and stocked. And there was a great variety of ingredients to choose from, all of your expected basics, plus many nice touches. I particularly enjoyed the two kinds of eggs--both chopped eggs AND pickled eggs! I've never seen whole picked eggs on a salad bar before! They were in with pickled beets, which were delicious as well. There were I think three soups available at the salad bar too. I am vegetarian, and unfortunately all the soups contained some meat product so I didn't try any. But that was fine by me, I was gorging myself gleefully on the salad bar. :-D Also ... what a GREAT DEAL! So the salad bar on it's own is $12.99, which is not a bad deal right there. BUT you can have the salad bar as a side for $3.99 with any meal. This includes sandwiches. So I got the grilled cheese for $7.99 and had the salad bar as my side for $3.99, totaling $11.98 ... it's like they paid me a buck for the grilled cheese, HA! The grilled cheese came back to the hotel with us for a nightcap since I was stuffed to the gills with the salad bar. It was basic, but still plenty cheesy and satisfying. The salad bar was really the star of the dining-show! My husband really enjoyed it, too. I'm now officially a HUGE fan of Eat'n Park salad bar! We don't have Eat'n Park at home in Buffalo NY, but whenever we are PA-way, I will make it a point to look for an Eat'n Park with a salad bar for sure! :-D read more

This was our 1st time to an EatandPark restaurant and it was very nice. I'm so happy they had turkey breakfast sausage as I don't eat pork! We tried the grilled stickies - a little too sweet but hubby liked them - basically a cross between a Cinnabon and Texas toast. I thought the French toast was great! Nice thick pieces of Texas toast with a side of whipped butter and syrup. They have a lunch buffet most everyday and a breakfast buffet on the weekend. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. I've been on the road traveling since mid January and this was the worst place I have dined. The waitress was friendly and kept the coffee coming. The coffee was very good sand hot. I wasn't very hungry and so I ordered a side of hash browns, a side of sausage, and a "homemade" Bear Claw. The hash browns served were 2 small pre-made Simplot-type hash brown that can be bought in bulk at any WalMart. The potatoes were undercooked and not crispy. The sausage was fair. But the Bear Claw! WOW! I've never had one like this before. Maybe that's how they make them in this part of Pennsylvania. The dough was tough; the bun itself was covered in a sugary icing: there was a sprinkle of some kind of chopped nuts; there was no filling between the layers. It was inedible for me. I will be here for about 6 more days and while there are not a lot of places to eat here in Clarion that interest me, I will definitely not return. The best thing about the restaurant is the server and the coffee. Other than that, don't waste your money. read more

Dreadful buffet! At 7:30 AM one would think everything would be fresh...or at least cooked properly...hello! The fresh fruit consisted of canned peaches, partially ripe honey dew melon. Where are the berries? It's the beginning of July! The biscuits were cold, the bacon was crisp on one side and undercooked on the other side and stuck together in sections of 5 or6 pieces. The sausage patties were partially cooked around the edges and had absolutely no flavor. My tea was hot and my husband's coffee was hot and that's about all I can say. My family frequently drives through PA for a road trip to my hometown. We discovered this lovely place on one such trip. The food was delicious, appropriately priced, and the service was lovely! Every interaction with this establishment has been outstanding. We even ordered to-go for the first time and were delighted to discover the food was ready, hot, and packed perfectly to accommodate eating on the road. The food was surprisingly bad for typical breakfast fare - eggs/toast/bacon were skimpy and cold; the breakfast burrito was small and flat and sad. I thought this was rural America - where are the massive piles of rich, salty coronary disease? We popped in around 6am when they had just opened, and yet all the stuff in the breakfast buffet looked like it had been sitting for hours. Stopped during a recent visit to Clarion and both my travel companion and I found human hairs in our salads from the salad bar. When brought to the attention of our server, she simply shrugged it off as "they must be from another customer because our lady wears a hair net." Really? That's how you address the issue. By far one of the most enjoyable places to eat! Very kid friendly and the servers are very attentive,but not hovering over you while you eat. My husband and I and our 2 children all got the Sunday brunch buffet, the food was nice and hot and the buffet was well kept. The service of the workers working the buffet were great also, the one buffet worker was very friendly when we got up to the buffet and even stopped to talk to our child about her favorite show Sofia the first! We also got a grilled sticky ala mode which was grilled to perfection! Prices were fairly cheap it was around 30 dollars with a dessert and 2 milkshakes and 2 sodas! Was very disappointed. Been to other Eat'n Parks and never experienced this. Floors, tables and seats dirty, very dirty. It looked like whoever was cleaning off tables was not washing any of them. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed in days. I waited 15 minutes for a server to ask for another table or for mine to be cleaned. No one came and too many staff, including the manager, were standing around socializing or even flirting. It was not busy when I was there and I ended up at the neighboring McDonald's.
