These are some very tasty treats!…read more We selected a variety of both cake and yeast donuts. First try was the blueberry. This is a cake style and it tastes exactly like a fresh blueberry. I actually hesitated to choose this one, but now I am so very glad I did! It was wonderful. The chocolate on the Angel Cream and Boston Cream was tasty without being over sweet. The yeast dough is so light and fluffy. Both are very satisfying. The vanilla cream in the Angel Cream donut is quite sweet, almost like a frosting The Boston cream custard was nicely done. Not over sweet, nice and smooth. Many of the donuts we selected have a sugar glaze that compliments the donut. The donut itself is not too sweet, and the sugar glaze adds just enough sweetness to make for an enjoyable treat. There is a small parking area behind the shop. Eating-in is no longer an option and the dining room has been turned into a storage area. There are bottled beverages in a cooler, and hot coffee is available. Cream & sugar on a table to add yourself. I would definitely stop by for more donuts from Scotty's when in this area. These are very tasty, light and fluffy donuts.
