I was staying near the Kalispell Center Mall & wanted to ride around to see the sights and act just like a local. (This is always a high priority for me when I travel to a new place.) I jumped on the Whitefish Express (the Express bus costs $3) that ends up at the O'Shaughnessy Center, hung out for a spell, and then jumped right back on the return express bus to Kalispell. I kind of got a city tour for the price of a bus ride. But I had to deduct 1 YELP STAR due to the Kalispell to Glacier Park bus service not starting up until July! I want to go there now! Still I have to commend scenic, rustic Kalispell for having such great public transportation options like Eagle Transit.

I am not sure of the name of the person I spoke with (that was overshadowed by his ridiculous attitude), but he was one of the rudest customer service employees I have come across. Firstly, from the start he acted annoyed with me inquiring and asking questions about what they could offer and how much. When I wanted to move from talking about one day to talking about another he would say things like, "well we haven't gotten to Saturday yet" with a sarcastic undertone. When I would repeat myself about something he would rudely say "Yes, that's the information you've given me," again with an annoyed/bothered undertone. He tried to make me feel like what I was asking for was too much and was trying to cut services (that would actually make them more money) when I specifically asked for them. I got off that phone call as soon as I could with my mouth literally wide open. I had to hold back as I really wanted to tell him what I thought about his customer service, or lack thereof, but figured this was a better place to do it. Some advice, if you don't like dealing with people and you find them annoying, you should not answer the phones for inquiries on the business you work for. Maybe another profession would suit you best, one that does not interact with the human race.

They also blocked their office phone number for anyone outside the 406 area code, so Instead of getting a pick-up, I was stranded at the airport. * Very long customer service delay. * After the delay, I received a car without snow tires and otherwise totally inappropriate for the snowy environment. I had to return it. * On a later occasion, we were charged $2700 for a small dent incurred AFTER I had returned the car to their unattended lot. Enterprise's excuse was a term in a set of "terms and conditions" not provided to me. Although as a lawyer I know the term probably was unenforceable, Enterprise pursued me for a year, ignoring the questions I had about the claim. In sum, it was just a hold-up. I know from experience that other car rental companies do not act this way. Steer clear!

Ice capped peaks as far as the eye can see, some glaciers, lakes a waterfalls can be viewed. Easily one of the top helicopter rides we've been on. The reservation process is a bit tricky and played by ear. You get an initial confirmation then a second confirmation the night before. We were able to book the day before and they were very accommodating. The weather is highly variable in Glacier Park and understandably they may have to cancel depending on the weather. However it worked out for us.

They also can drop you off.. Check in was super easy and fast. When we were dropped off they already had our keys and paperwork ready and all we had to do was sign. The room: clean. Spacious. We had a double bed. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. The restroom was big. Toiletries include a shampoo conditioner and lotion. The towels were super soft. The water pressure was poor, but manageable. The AC worked well. There was always hot water. Extras: they have coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7. They also had cookies. They have a laundry room and it cost $2.25 to use the washer and/or dryer. The pool is inside and there is a small slide. They also have a small gym. Breakfast. Continental. You can expect hot food selections such as scrambled eggs, potatoes, a protein, oatmeal, and waffles. Cold selections include cereal and yogurt. The only thing I noticed is that they don't replenish some of the items. For example, they ran out of oatmeal and when we asked if they could make more, they said that they could give us instant instead. Which is OK. They also have fresh fruit. Parking is free onsite.
