Dora at the front helped me set up this appointment and she spoke excellent English and Spanish. Most of the staff speak both languages, so if you're nervous about communication, I wouldn't worry about it if you don't speak Spanish. They are very organized and communicate quickly via email and WhatsApp. They offer a shuttle service pick up, which is easy. As soon as you cross the border, the pick up area is right outside the gates and the pharmacy. The driver gives you about a 10-minute grace period for your pick up appointment. However, if you miss it for whatever reason, the uber is under $5 to get to the office. For your appointment, you receive a QR code which you will scan to get through to the elevators. The QR code will only work 15 minutes before your appointment. This is to manage the amount of people in the waiting room. There is still a seating area in the first floor if you're early. Dr. Alexandra performed my cleaning and she was super nice. There is a TV on the ceiling and they even ask about your favorite music to have it on while they work on you. This was the most at ease I've felt at the dentist.

My case was a nightmare on paper: a failed root canal with curved, L-shaped canals, broken file instruments left inside, and a leaking crown that had been causing ongoing issues. Every specialist I consulted in the States either declined outright or quoted an outcome they weren't confident about. Dr. Alex took one look at my X-rays and , explained exactly what he was dealing with, and said he could helpo. What set him apart was his thoroughness and honesty. He didn't rush. He didn't cut corners. He was upfront that this would take significantly more time than a standard re-treatment -- and he delivered on that. But Dr. Hens made the experience easy. My comfort was constantly monitored. They have blankets and pillows. Throughout the procedure, they checked in with me regularly.. Explanations and warnings for every sensation. I did not experience any pain, which is rare for me as Novacaine tends to wear off quickly on me. And from the evaluation to the completed root canal, I never doubted the expertise of the staff and Dr. Hens. They have this cool 3-D image thing and they do the x-rays in your chair so it is much simplified. She also takes the time to explain everything and answer all your questions. I never felt rushed. I have been putting up with a lower standard of care for far too long and I highly recommend this office if you have any insecurities or fears or hesitations about the work you need done. What I found particularly offensive was his condescending tone, dismissive facial expressions, repeated interruptions, and overall disrespectful attitude. His behavior was unnecessarily confrontational, leaving me feeling belittled and humiliated simply for asking a question. I finally requested the office manager, who offered to ask Dr. Cameron about applying the fee. The male employee attempted to discourage her TWICE, insisting that the doctor was in a procedure. Thankfully, she proceeded anyway and returned with Dr. Cameron's approval to apply the consultation fee toward my root canal. They have large tv monitors and small cameras where you can see your tooth up close while they work. The root canal took longer then expected which he later showed me was because I had long curvy roots with some calcification. I could tell he was taking his time to make sure everything was done correctly. He did not rush to finish up and get to the next patient.
