I've been needing to get my wisdom teeth out for some time. I had been putting it off for any…read morereason I could find but one was really starting to give me problems and I couldn't put it off any longer. I had been referred to this office from a dentist a few years ago but came up with a (good enough) reason to put the surgery off for a little while longer. Since the referral, my insurance had changed and I was referred to another oral surgeon, by my current dental coverage. I went to that "big chain" dental office and saw a bunch of red flags and read many bad reviews. I also found out the extraction was going to be out of pocket so I decided to go to Dr. Tillner on my own accord. I met Dr Tillner at the consultation and was really appreciative of his calm demeanor and educated explanation. He gave me the facts, risks and complications and what to expect out of the extraction. I really appreciate his thoroughness and he took the time to answer all the questions I had. The office was very accommodating with scheduling and clear with pricing. The facility is very clean and the staff are all friendly. On the day of the surgery he was very nice and explained every thing that would happen during the extraction. For me it was a stressful thing to do but Dr Tillner was so chill and it put me at ease. I mean obviously he is a professional but he had a confidence about his work and it made it feel less invasive than a routine cleaning. As if pulling teeth is as easy as making a sandwich, no worries. I was put under general anesthesia so I can't comment on his bed side manner during an operation... After the surgery one of the staff wheeled me to my awaiting vehicle and gave very detail instructions on what to expect over the next few days. There were no issues during the healing and I didn't experience any of the potential issues that can occur after wisdom teeth extraction. I am confident in not only the work done by Dr Tillner but of the whole experience provided by his team. Hopefully I never need to go back but if something goes wrong with my teeth I know where to go.

This was my first time coming to this office after being referred by my primary dentist…read more Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk was disappointing. The receptionist was rude and handed my patient information form back to me abruptly because the last page was incomplete. I had questions regarding the signature section, which is why I had not signed everything yet. After I completed it, I was given another form and told they needed information about my pharmacist as well as authorization for X-rays. My dentist was supposed to email my X-rays beforehand, but apparently that had not been done. Because of how unwelcome I felt during the interaction, I decided to reschedule my appointment. At this point, I am unsure if I will return and may consider other options instead.

I know this review is long but if you care about our child please read it…read more My 17-year-old son had all four wisdom teeth removed here, and the entire experience left me upset and honestly regretful that I chose this office. When he became more aware afterward, he told me he woke up during the procedure and felt pressure, which clearly frightened him. That alone is very concerning to me, as it raises questions about whether the anesthesia was adequate. When they brought him out to me, his eyes were extremely red and it was obvious he had been crying. He said he woke up panicked and crying, but they kept him in the back until he "calmed down" because they didn't want me to see him like that. As his parent, that was very upsetting I should have been informed and allowed to be there for my child. What made this worse was the lack of communication overall. After the procedure, the doctor did not come speak to me or explain anything. Instead, I was told to pull my car around, and they brought my child out to me in the car. There was no proper conversation, no walkthrough of what happened, no reassurance nothing. As a parent, you're left wondering: who are we supposed to talk to? How are we supposed to understand what our child just went through? Between my son waking up frightened during the procedure, being kept from me while in distress, and the complete lack of communication afterward, this experience was extremely disappointing. I truly wish I had chosen a different office. This was a stressful and regretful experience for me as a mother. I strongly recommend that other parents ask detailed questions beforehand about anesthesia, recovery policies, and post-procedure communication. Or please look for another office. I hope this office improves how they handle patient care and communication with families.

I have mixed thoughts about this place and this doctor. Was referred to this location by my dentist…read moredue to part of my upper and lower wisdom teeth coming in heavily impacted. Had my consultation appointment in October. Got x-rays done, filled out some paperwork, and watched a video about the risks this surgery poses. Did not actually get to talk to anyone about any questions or concerns I might've had. That was kinda odd in my opinion. The office itself is very nice and looks promising but the experience I had said otherwise. Early November I had my procedure done. The surgeon was quick but did not present with any compassion if you ask me. Felt pain during the second removal of my lower wisdom teeth and practically felt the entire tooth being yanked out even after multiple anesthesia shots. At one point I jumped up in tears because it was so painful and the surgeon had the nerve to get upset with me for startling him. How else are you supposed to react in pain?! Let me yank out one of your teeth and see how you react. More anesthesia shots were administered and was not successful. Eventually just had to suck it up to get the job done, but the surgeon didn't even bother to check in after the procedure. Apparently no amount of anesthesia was gonna help due to the tooth being so close to the nerve, but I wish they had explained that to me after the x-rays were examined. Got prescribed the typical pain killers for the post-op and received some at home care instructions, but never received a follow up appointment to check in and see if I was healing properly. Ended up going back to my dentist to check in with them and thankfully all is well now, but I wouldn't recommend this doctor or location to others. Be aware.

I was referred here by Visionary Dental Arts and I swung by the day of to have a quick convo and they were able to get me a consultation within the next 48 hours which was clutch because my insurance plan was changing and I needed a quick turnaround time. The receptionist were quick, funny, and informative. They have an automated system to send you text reminders of your appointment plus a welcome video after you leave the office. For my consultation, I was running late because my dog became ill and they were gracious and worked with finding another time for me to come in. I arrived later that day and waited no more than 5 minutes in a crowded waiting room to go in and get my head scanned. I was put into the patient room with scans of my head and I met with 3 people. The assistant, then the doctor, then the payment specialist. Each one was welcoming and didn't talk to me entirely in jargon and technical terms. They made it a point to use the medical terms and then combine it with more common terms. It was in a way that didnt make me feel inferior or not smart. I then went and made an appointment for two weeks from there. A few days later, I called and asked if I can move it up and they were more than happy to do so as they had a last minute opening for extraction. On they day of my appointment, I came in, they went over a few paperwork, took payment, and then whisked me into the room. They asked what type of music I wanted to be played and told them some music from my home country and they were bopping along with me and asking questions about my country and sharing stories about their own. I was 3 minutes into the song before next thing I knew, I was being walked out to the car. Don't remember much but they mentioned how fun I was and that they enjoyed spending time with me. Apparently I was hilarious and grooving even in my sleep. Many thanks for their patience and care they provided me.
