Then, when I went to pay, the front desk staff chased me when I was out the door for more tip. Sad to say I won't be back.

I didn't realize my credits expired after a certain amount of time, and I was worried when I called. Damaris couldn't have been sweeter. She was understanding and extended my credits so they wouldn't go to waste. On top of that, the therapist I used to see wasn't available, so Damaris took the time to help me choose a new one. She didn't rush me and genuinely seemed to care that I ended up with a good fit. It's rare to find this kind of customer service anymore. When you're already having a stressful day, someone who helps you patiently and pleasantly makes a huge impact. Damaris is an asset to the South Bay location, and she's a big part of why I'd recommend Now Massage.

After the appointment, the same woman in the front was checking us out and i mentioned we had gift cards we wanted to use for our services and wanted to also make sure the promotion was applied. She said ok and that she would send me the receipt. Nervous to leave, we lingered to wait for the receipt but she continued to say she would send it. On my way home i received a call saying she needed my credit card information so i gave it to her over the phone. I checked my email and saw my receipt. I was charged nearly double what we should've paid. I called back and she said that we cannot use gift cards on massages that have the discount. MIND YOU, she called and also never stated this knowing we had already spoken regarding the promotion. I called again after rereading the promotion i received and there is no word or statement saying i couldn't use a gift card for part of my payment. I have never even heard of this concept especially that a gift card is still a form of payment. She said i could talk with management and she'll give them my info. At this point i dont even know what to believe. I'm in so much disbelief at my experience. I truly love everything else and the massage therapists are amazing but my experience with the front has been a nightmare and i can't keep coming knowing it's like this every time which leaves me torn. I sent an email in hopes i hear back but definitely need to start looking for somewhere new to go after this.

I have been seeing Diane @ Montage for the last two months, & the difference she has made has been INCREDIBLE. My skin had been looking & feeling dull for several years prior to my seeing her, & she was very honest with me about getting to know my skin & not being sure about what we might need to do as we began treatments. After the first treatment with the Diamondtome plus the recommendation of a cleanser & moisturizer, the difference was amazing. Diane was pleased & we moved to phase two with the extractions. She is fantastic with them. Again, after the second treatment, I saw another huge difference in the appearance of my skin. I've been dealing with months of stubborn breakouts, painful cystic acne, and just overall unhappy skin. I was trying every product and treatment possible and I was feeling pretty defeated. AAA+ I have been going to Montage for the past 10 years to see Dianne, the owner where she pampers me with the Diamond tome facial treatment. She then massages my face, neck, shoulders, hands and arms. Ahhh, yes quite the treat. My skin looks and feels amazing. Just recently, Dianne recommended the stemology facial leaving my skin lifted and toned...just radiant. It truly plumped up my 62 yr old face and made my cheekbones appear rounder and lifted. The resolution facial at Montage is the best facial I have ever had, and I am hooked. I also recently tried the Sculplla treatment and the results were immediate. My skin is dewy and my smile lines and the lines around my eyes are so much softer. I can't wait for my next Sculplla treatment. BEST MANICURE AND PEDICURE! The spa's hidden jem. I have never had such a relaxing, pampering pedicure in my life!! Marina pays attention to every detail. My pedicure was not only perfect when I left the spa but it lasted longer than any other pedicure. Oh and did I mention, she is an artist too! The minute you walk into Montage you know you have made a good choice. I have been dealing with some back pain and decided to get some massage therapy and was recommended from a friend to book a session with Gina at Montage. Wow what a great decision. She is very experienced and after a quick conversation she went to work. Excellent theraputic massage with cupping and hot stones. I had an incredible experience at Montage! I treated myself to a facial, and a lash and brow lift, and the results were amazing--my skin is glowing, and my lashes and brows look perfect. I lost touch with Susan after the spa closed, & it took me another 5 years to find & reconnect as a client of Forever Young By Susan in 11/2020. Her "studio" is located in The Face Place & More Skin & Body Care, sharing the space with Linda Hirsch, Cloud 9 Massage, SkinFX, & Advanced Skincare By Marilyn. Services include anti-aging/acne facials (Luminesce, Acne Complex, Sun Undone, Resurgence, Back, Youth Building, Chinese Gua Sha, AHA Rapid Exfoliator, Men's) & waxing (Chin/Lip/Sideburns, Brow/Underarm, Traditional Bikini, Playboy Bikini, 1/2 Leg, Full Leg/Back/Chest). The facials are customized to client's needs & 50+ min. facials include additional services. I used to alternate between Luminesce, AHA Rapid Exfoliator, & Resurgence as a Murad client. Since reconnecting, I've been booking the CHINESE FACIAL GUA SHA (detoxification of face, neck, & shoulders with special jade gua sha technique; combats aging, reduces inflammation & puffy eyes, decreases pore sizes, help speed up cell regeneration, reduces stress) on a monthly basis to clean my face healthy & glowing. The daily life workload & stress, in addition to COVID-19, I really need this monthly getaway, even if it's just a small fraction of time. I'm usually just on time or a couple minutes behind, Susan always opens & greets me at the door with a smile (a huge + in my book that I'm not delayed because that cuts into my paid time)! =) The space is private -- just us -- but I always wear my mask & make sure I'm healthy before going even if we're vaccinated & boosted, & there's a temperature check at the entrance. The intimate room is clean & well-organized with dimmed lighting, comfy & warm bed, & relaxing background music to promote a serene & zen treatment. Before starting, Susan did a thorough analysis (to make sure this is the best facial for my current needs). As mentioned in the previous review, a good esthetician should recommend a different method than your standard MO because your skin changes with age, sun exposure/the elements, etc. Susan ALWAYS does just that at each appointment, adjusting the technique, timing of each process, etc. And if you're a new client, she explains what product & process in each step. At times, I don't even have to point out the problem areas because she spots these changes under the magnifying glass & adjust the treatment to rebalance & rejuvenate my skin. Sometimes Susan focuses more on my face, & other times when I'm rather stressed/tensed, she spends a little more time on the mini massage to remove the kinks & knots in my shoulders & neck. I'm highly sensitive to touch (= extremely ticklish), yet she skillfully maneuvers over these stress points with ease without my breaking out into delirious laughter. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Only 1 other professional, Francine (also from defunct Murad), was able to give me a massage without me squealing or squirming. She is a bright light and one of the kindest and most joyful women you'll meet. Tanya is the most phenomenal esthetician and now my aunt and friends see her too. Jen and PK are always my fav for botox and filler. Last year PK did my lips which I've had done for years and I was obsessed! She used two different products and the result was natural and so beautiful! If you are nervous to try a new place I promise you this is the only place I would send my family and friends.

I feel so blessed to have found someone of Michelle's caliber so close to home. Here are all the things I love: 1. Abundant free parking - a big plus in the South Bay 2. Sole proprietor- you're not quickly ushered through a large spa. It's just Michelle and she takes the time to do what is needed for your skin 3. The bed/table - OMG! So relaxing! I never thought the bed/table mattered to me, but her's is top of the line. 4. Quality - the best facial in town! Michelle uses top of the line products (I'm now a huge fan of Skinceuticals and Naturopathica and use some of them at home). She spends the time on my skin as needed. And the mini upper back massage is amazing! 5. Product Recommendations - while Michelle uses great products, I really like that she doesn't push them on me and often recommends cheaper products I can find at Target for a couple bucks. 6. Price - I feel that Michelle is fairly priced and I get great value for my money. 7. Spray tans - I've only been getting the occasional spray tan the last few years and previously went somewhere else. Not only are Michelle's organic and safe, but they last over a week and often two weeks. She makes my German/Irish splotchy skin look natural and tan! The only negative is that Michelle can get really busy. I was reluctant to put out a glowing review as those appointments may be harder to get. I always book my next appointment when I leave, so I don't usually have a problem. But she's not the kind of place where you can call and expect to get in the next day (although she does sometimes have cancellations).
