Talk about a terrible company to deal with!…read more Here is our nightmare in dealing with Light Speed: My boyfriend's car had two flat tires and was supposed to be towed from our apartment to the local Hyundai dealership for repairs. Over 6+ hours after the car was towed we still had not heard from the dealership or the towing company. We called the dealership to check in and they said that they did not receive our car. Um what? We then called Light Speed to inquire about where the car was. A snippy receptionist informed us that the car was still on the back of the tow truck and that the tow truck had "broken down somewhere." Concerned that nobody at the tow company thought this was information we as a client should know, we asked for the location of our vehicle. The receptionist said she didn't know but that we could call the tow truck driver (to which my boyfriend remarked "Isn't that your job"). CLICK! Yes, the receptionist HUNG UP ON US! Sadly, it doesn't end there. Not even five minutes after we were hung up on, the manager at Light Speed called us back to verbally assault my boyfriend claiming that he "cussed out his receptionist." Both of us were in complete shock that this man had the audacity to accuse a CUSTOMER of harassing his receptionist. The manager also went on to say "I do not care about your $20k car when my $80k truck is broken down." Concerned for the wellbeing of our car we called back Hyundai Assistance to explain our situation and urge them not to do business with Light Speed. Hyundai sent out a different towing company and within an hour our car was safely at the Hyundai dealership. Absolutely unreal. I wish there were an island somewhere where we could put scumbags like this. Oh, and the receptionist needs a swift kick in the tush to sort out that attitude problem of hers. Aldrich Auto Body and Repair shop has fixed my car twice after being hit. They are excellent…read morecommunicators. They text the date of when the car will be ready and each time have finished on the date they specified. They are very helpful when picking up and dropping off a rental car. The rental car is dropped off at Aldrich when you are done with it and when your vehicle is dropped off for repair a van from the rental agency takes you over to the rental shop to pick up the rental vehicle. Super convenient. They send out timely messages on the status of the car as they are working on it. When you are initially getting an estimate they take a look, assess the damage and then return the car and give you a date to bring it in while they order the parts. That way the car is back with you until they get parts and then you bring it in. If you find anything that might seem n0ot quite right they take you right in and fix it immediately (the same day). The women at the front desk are extremely helpful and the person who takes a look at your car is great (Jamie). I highly recommend this business for autobody work. My car looks great!

The charges on the invoice are ridiculous, unnecessary and were not authorized by me. When I asked about these fees, one of the owners had the audacity to lie about the location of my vehicle at the time of the tow and lie about the weather conditions- to give reason for the winching and the wrapping of windows- which were never an issue as it was not raining and they had the key and could have rolled up the windows themselves. In addition, they threw in some stupid yard fee, an administrative fee, and a service time fee. But they gave me a break on a gate fee of $100.00. And their idea of helping me with the bill was asking me if I wanted to give them the title to my vehicle and pay the $200.00 This place is a f**kin' joke. They may get my money for now, but I'm sure to get it back in the very near future. They aren't taking my car either. Funny how Fitchburg Police use a "Auto Body & Repair" shop and how many people lose their cars because they can't pay the bull$hit fees these vampires charge to release a vehicle.
