One thing to note when you're coming or going is that the road in front of Barcode is very wide and a higher speed limit, so be careful crossing the road as there have been far too many accidents outside this club!

The place was really big and funky and had really cool decor and layout, big enough dance floor with cool lighting and smoke effects. Was served quickly and had cheap enough prices. The music was what you would expect in a nightclub but still wicked! No long queues for the bathroom and it was clean! Couldn't take pints outside to the smoking area but plastic cups were provided, which is great considering most places expect you to leave your pint on a table to go out for a cigarette leaving it open to getting spiked, or allow people to bring glass outside which inevitably ends in broken glass everywhere. There was plenty of bouncers and bar staff and felt like it was very well run, wasn't hassled by anybody. Would definitely consider going again.

Every time I am in Limerick for a night out we end up here sooner or later. The atmosphere is very casual and there is always a good selection of music playing. You can always find local bands or DJs here playing rock/metal/alternative tunes, which is refreshing for those of us who don't get into the standard stuff you hear on the radio these days.
