This library is a single floor library with a decent amount of resources available to visitors. Upon entering you'll find the children's section on the right side of the library with various books and research materials in the center spanning to the left side of library as you enter. Staff is super helpful and really nice. I didn't spend too much time here during my visit but I never find any library bad unless you've visited a library in NYC where it can be noisy! It's nice to visit libraries in the suburbs that still believe in a quiet place to read or study.

This was my fourth visit to the library, and unfortunately, the experience continues to be…read moredisappointing. I'm not sure if the staff are volunteers or employees, but they consistently come across as having a chip on their shoulder. Today, I visited with my kids (ages 5-8), one of whom is on the autism spectrum. His stimming and occasional grunting are normal behaviors for him, but the staff showed no empathy or understanding. Instead, one employee repeatedly checked on us, constantly reminding us to lower our voices and enforcing rules without considering the circumstances. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming and overly rigid, especially for a place that should encourage children to learn, explore, and feel comfortable. While I understand the need for order, there's a balance between maintaining rules and being flexible enough to allow kids to be kids. I truly hope the library staff can undergo some training in inclusivity and customer service so it can become a space that feels welcoming to all members of the community.

It is slightly more than an hour's drive from New York City--when there is no traffic. Although most visitors don't make it to the area surrounding the mall, you should know that Woodbury is literally surrounded by State Parks, most notably Harriman State Park, West Point and the Storm King Arts Center. There are also numerous lakes and streams, and creeks. In the first half of the Twentieth Century, the area was a summer destination for the New York City elite, and eventually was dotted with bungalow colonies--some of which are still in use. There is a tall, broad, old man, not fat at all, with a long white beard and long white payos that…read morewalks in and out of the main KJ guys Mikvah (main Yeshiva/Synagogue building) countless times every Friday afternoon wearing a long black coat and a white shirt that stays dressed the entire time and stares for very, very long amounts of time at naked guys and naked kids while they are showering and while they are inside the Mikvah. He routinely stands near each Mikvah and goes out of his way to stare inside the Mikvah water for very, very long amounts of time. This is extremely CREEPY and scary, and inappropriate, and this MUST end immediately. It is believed that both guys and kids feel sexually abused, uncomfortable, and turned off, by the extended routine staring actions of this extremely scary, creepy individual. On Fridays, when he is not inside the Mikvah facilty, he often sits in the back of the main KJ Bais Medrash.

Judaic library downstairs in unbeatable and heavenly. World class mikvah, coffee room, classes etc. Even a sefardic minyan on shabbos downstairs to make sure everyone is comfortable.
