The Library in Warwick has a lot of large print books, comic books, and magazines. One can order…read morejust about any book from the larger library system which works super well. I don't really like the noise policy which enables one loud person to largely ruin the quiet environment for all others trying to read or study. Workers act irritated and annoyed to answer simple client requests. There's a large parking lot. The budget draws 2 million a year from taxpayers and it seems the high cost derives from excessive fees for digital subscriptions which large Silicon Valley corporations charge local libraries. It's shameful. Hours are limited.

It's built of stones in a style that was commonly used in this part of Orange County, NY. It now is used as the office for the Town Historian. It's on Route 32 a few miles north of Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

The staff and professors at the time were awesome and I built the foundation that set me up for my entire career at OCCC. I met some great people there, a few of which are still lifelong friends. Don't underestimate community college, I'd do it all over again.

They do also host kids events at the library, as well as events like movies under the stars for the summer. Now, as I had a library card for this location, I really haven't used the library. Oh tho- my mom used the library for wifi when our power was out, and she said it was good, and quiet. Again though, I had a library card but didn't really use it. Think one time I was looking for Percy Jackson books and they didn't have it, and was a tween then. Anyways. Went here recently (note 3 stars) on Wednesday July 23rd 2025 because we were moving soon, and I had books and VHS tapes to donate. When I got there, they said no, we don't accept donations-- which i thought was kind of weird. After all, especially if they are vintage books that can still be applicable, donations should be considered. While the person who told me was pleasant and understanding- i just thought it was kind of weird.Again, having books, especially vintage ones may be of interest of have because then others would read them- like if their parents read this book, they might borrow the book for their kids. Now the books ending up going to a goodwill instead. At least i tried!

This newly renovated library is beautiful. I always go with my 2 year old to "buy books from the…read morelibrary" so I haven't had a chance to explore the whole library yet. The kids section is wonderful though. They have a ton of books (obviously), computers, a coloring area, puzzles, and toys. I love it. One day I will go back by myself to peruse the rest of the library. The librarians are always so sweet and helpful. If you download the app you can get tons of ebooks and audiobooks as well. The audiobooks have been VERY helpful on my long commute.

Beautiful gorgeous new library--brand new books-everything spotless. However, the librarians are…read morethe most miserable people I have ever encountered in a library. They effectively ousted a group of middle school students because they sat in the younger kid section. They have no real area in the library for them, yet wouldn't let them sit in the window seats. The old, white haired lady at the circulation desk spent most of her time biting everyone's head off-have never felt less welcome in a library before.
