For my mom's recent birthday, she received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her niece. I opened the front door and the man delivering flowers was very polite. The vase was very heavy and he made sure to hold the door open for me. I can't speak to the value but can say that it is a gorgeous arrangement. Monroe Florist & Flower Delivery - Beautiful bouquet for my mom's birthday (from her niece) - Florists Near Me - Monroe, Michigan

10 Stars! 20 Stars!! My experience with Eva and Monroe Florist goes back over 40 years! (gulp). Eva was my first boss who taught me the beauty in flowers and making people happy. Their designs are exactly what you see online or in pictures. The designers are meticulous to meet whatever idea you have in your head. I have used Monroe Florist for birthdays, funerals, my own wedding (in which I carried specialty flowers), Easter and prom corsages, Christmas centerpieces and; most importantly, sending my mother her favorite single flower-the gardenia. Gardenias are difficult to find year round and need to be shipped in--Eva always finds the perfect blooms. Monroe Florist is *MY* florist and I don't even live in Michigan!! I reside in Southern California and still have my floral needs taken care of by Eva and her designers. Choosing Monroe Florist for a bouquet of "just because" flower or for your wedding, please know they come highly recommended! read more

My husband ordered flowers for our 8th wedding anniversary. He called and asked them to make the bouquet similar to the one they did for us back in 2017. The bouquet today was absolutely beautiful. I cried (happy tears) because it brought back that day. Sunflowers are my favorite, and they did this one just as perfectly as the original. And the delivery driver, I didn't catch her name, was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, played with our 14-year-old pup, Sophie, and just made our whole day. Thank you thank you thank you! read more

My favorite florist ever! I have used them for large formal parties and for small arrangements. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and reliable, and will help you find the most beautiful selection for your budget. In fact, I prefer to tell the designers my price range and the occasion, and let them do the rest. I have always been delighted! The flowers are always so gorgeous, and last longer than anyone else's. The shop is also beautiful and has great choices for those looking for something more than flowers. Everyone should go to Eva and her team for their floral needs! read more

The staff is always so helpful and friendly. The cooler is stocked with a large selection of beautiful arrangements at various price points.

I cannot recommend Monroe Florist enough. I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The florist took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered a few suggestions. I went into this florist like I do every year to send my daughter flowers for Mother's Day. I asked them if they could add a Calla lily or two because that is her favorite. The woman I spoke with was absolutely rude and unhelpful! She basically said they would have to use an outsource florist in Detroit And I told them I understand that and I'm fine with it that's what you guys do every year. She also said I could drive up there and order directly from the florist which I did not want to do. That's why I walked into their shop so I didn't have to make the hour drive up. She said well I don't know if they are going to make what you want and she was very rude about it and acted like I was a bother. I will never go back to that florist again even though I have used them for years she did not have to be that rude! read more

This florist shop did an unusually great job. They ordered particular, special flowers on request, and their arrangement was especially artful and really beautiful. Their designer was quite talented, and I was on a mid-priced budget. Unlike some other florists I have dealt with over time, they actually listened to me and did what I asked. Having ordered flowers remotely from various shops around the U.S., this was one of the nicest-looking bouquets I have ever seen. Also, service was especially good. Eva and Maria were both really friendly, helpful, and particularly nice. The whole experience left me very happy and wanting to use them again. read more

Just was charged an outrageous amount to deliver flowers less than 1/4 mile from their shop. Their marquee advertised a dozen roses for less than $30, but my bill was $98.51!!! Never again will they get an order from me. read more

Always kind, helpful, and able to provide quick service. Grateful for their business!

Exceptional florist! We needed to coordinate several floral arrangements from out of state for a Gala in Monroe. Eva was so incredible to work with over the phone and in person. I had planned a Princess & the Frog themed bridal shower in hot pink & neon green. I had everything planned except for the centerpieces. I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do, to tie it all into my theme. I went to my go-to florist...Monroe Florist. They have the best ideas, they are very creative! Eva saw my vision & had the perfect fit! She quickly put together a sample of some pink & green flowers with some white daisies into the cutest frog vase that she had there in the shop. I live in Los Angeles, but my parents live in Carleton. Since I can't be there for mother's day, I like to send my mom flowers. I have had some bad experiences with ordering flowers online in the past. So this year for mother's day I called these folks to help me put together a bouquet. My mom sent me a pic and it's gorgeous! Thanks for helping me send a little love from afar! read more

I love Monroe Florist! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They can help design a bouquet exactly for you! My personal favorite is yellow snap dragons and purple hyacinths:) They will work within your budget too. I also enjoy looking around the store at the neat things you can buy for gifts or just something you can enjoy yourself. I bought the cutest frog coffee mug there It is definitely worth a visit. Monroe Florist is the only flower shop in Monroe worth going to. read more

Ok, so this is the second time I've been here in need of flowers for special occasions and have been disappointed and felt ripped off. I live an hour away, but have family in Monroe so I am there for holidays, birthdays, etc. I was there last Saturday 1/7/16, and wanted a bouquet of flowers for my grandma's birthday so I decided to go here instead of Kroger or whatever other corporate places to make my purchase to support local business....and I got screwed here worse for DOUBLE the price. I walk in and tell the not so friendly blonde woman that I needed a bouquet, something simple. She asked me my price and I said, no more than $20 because my grandma doesn't need some crazy arrangement, and to be honest, she probably won't even remember getting these flowers in a few days anyway. So the woman proceeds to make a bouquet and takes forever....geese I could've done it faster, also she just did her own thing and did not ask my opinion. Then, she yells "ok!" as if she was annoyed, terrible attitude. So I go up to the counter after looking at all of the crap they have for sale in there, which looks like a crafty hoarders wet dream, and she angrily says, "That'll be $25." While handing me a giant, tacky & ugly bouquet that was not the "something cute and simple" that I asked for. Ok, did you not hear me when I said no more than $20? Then she added tax and was a total, well you know... So lesson learned, go across the street to Kroger and get a classier and cheaper handful of flowers without the attitude and gauging price. And seriously, do not get your wedding or funeral arrangements there, you'd be better off ordering them from amazon. And be sure not to trip over all of the cheesy bird baths, gross cookie pizzas and stuffed animals while you are waiting in this place, yuck. read more

The biggest floral shop in Monroe. Well-stocked floral cooler and even a silk flower area that you can use to customize a bouquet for your decor. Store is a crowded so be careful where you walk. I haven't seen so many terrariums since the Seventies! read more
