The lady at the store was dismissive and treated us like folks who walked in by mistake. From the moment we walked in (no hello, no greeting, just a blank and cold stare) to her assuming right off the bat that we wanted premade drapes ("we don't sell premade drapes"), it was a case study in how to NOT treat customers. It took us having to literally prove to her with pictures of our windows that we were seriously in the market for drapes. She was not willing to share even basic information like the price range for different fabric options nor was she willing to even talk about the types of options available. Her tone, tenor and attitude clearly said "I don't care for you". It was only after we told her the color of our walls by sharing the Sherwin Williams color code / name did she realize we weren't turnips that fell off the back of a truck. Up until that point she was dismissive to say the least. Even assuming we were just browsing, imagine if she had presented the brand, the store and the offerings in a positive and vibrant manner. In today's digital first world, why would you ignore and insult customers who drive across town and walk into your store? It was very clear that we were not welcome and she made no attempt to even mask it. Her loss will be another store's gain! The installers, Fillype Veiga and Joe, were very polite, courteous and professional. Both my wife and I were very happy when the installation was completed. We could not believe how beautiful the newly installed windows changed the appearance of our home. The workmanship of the two installers is outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone. Before they left Fillype went over how the windows worked, how they open and close, then cleaned them all. They cleaned up everything and left nothing behind except our new windows. Do not do business with this company. Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a local business. I am all for supporting local businesses but not this one. He was absolutely difficult to work with. Juan did not deliver the blinds and shutters that he promised and the shutters that he produced were all wrong in size, they didn't even fit on the window! But he insisted that he was right and never apologized for his mistakes or the fact that he punched unnecessary holes in our window molds. We struggled to get our deposit back since he gave us faulty products and eventually threw them away himself... Never will I ever recommend this company and am surprised they are not shut down/out of business. read more

I just purchased a house and needed blinds and I almost went to a big box retailer, but the sells manager at my community suggested that I look at Monroe Blinds. They were extremely responsive and their blinds are top quality, but inexpensive. The installation was also a breeze. They installed 15 blinds in less than 30 minutes. She took the package to the front of the store to consult with another staff member, who noted that the packaging was sealed and the pricing was inside. This is not the first time I've encountered inconsistencies with pricing at your store, which is both frustrating and concerning from a customer standpoint. I hope this issue will be addressed to ensure clarity and fairness in future transactions. I would say the items they sale are quality and beautiful, but when there are discrepancies in price, it makes me wonder if changes are the same for all people or do they discriminate based on age, gender, race or other. I picked my material (lower grade that was very nice) and placed with the double liner, the cost was 20% off custom made drapes and I was able to get 1 and a 1/2 width wider drapes! The width of the slandered drapes was not wide enough. I also purchased a material at the Fabric Outlet in Charlotte (search google for location) and took it here and had custom made drapes! Prices for custom made drapes at 20% discount was a much better price than the 24' wide drapes they sell here in the store. Ask for Rebecca she's a wonderful help!
