After contacting Mark he came out right on time at 4:00. He quickly measured the windows and gave me feedback on what he suggested for the home. Mark was very professional, friendly, and knew what he was doing! My wife and I were very happy with the quote and booked him on the spot. We cancelled the other appointments we had for blind quotes. It took about 5-6 weeks for the blinds to come in. Our appointment was scheduled for 2:00 on a Friday. Kyle and Jared showed up promptly at 2:00. They were very detailed with the installation. I have never had someone do work on our house and clean up so well after themselves. The blinds were installed perfectly and quickly. It was exactly what my wife and I were picturing. My wife's exact quote was "This is life changing." I will definitely be recommending Mark and team to friends and family. What a great experience that exceeds my expectations. P.S. - The experience was so good that this forced me to write my first Yelp review.

After ignoring our budget set for buying our home, i figured we needed to put up good blinds…read more Carolina Blind Crafters was easy to work with from appraisal to installation. Despite a missed window in the estimate, they charged cost for the one they missed which worked out for me. We went with some honeycomb top down, bottom up blinds (a few blackout ones for the bedroom) which are pricey but seemed comparable to Lowe's based on my estimates...but i figured you'll have them forever. Unless you have a stupid cat who likes to chew on them... Anywho, the installer guy is really friendly and during the initial installation, there was one blind that was a little uneven and without prompting he let me know that they would be replacing that one. During the installation, listen to their recommendation that not every window needs to be top down as well. It'll save a little money anyway..although, i don't know that i would have predicted utilizing the top down in the windows i do. I recommend Carolina Blind Crafters, but next time i would probably just choose cheaper blinds especially with asshole pets in the house.

5 stars for the merch: Fantastic selection of fabrics…read more MINUS 4 for the customer experience: Subpar to say the least. The lady at the store was dismissive and treated us like folks who walked in by mistake. From the moment we walked in (no hello, no greeting, just a blank and cold stare) to her assuming right off the bat that we wanted premade drapes ("we don't sell premade drapes"), it was a case study in how to NOT treat customers. It took us having to literally prove to her with pictures of our windows that we were seriously in the market for drapes. She was not willing to share even basic information like the price range for different fabric options nor was she willing to even talk about the types of options available. Her tone, tenor and attitude clearly said "I don't care for you". It was only after we told her the color of our walls by sharing the Sherwin Williams color code / name did she realize we weren't turnips that fell off the back of a truck. Up until that point she was dismissive to say the least. Even assuming we were just browsing, imagine if she had presented the brand, the store and the offerings in a positive and vibrant manner. In today's digital first world, why would you ignore and insult customers who drive across town and walk into your store? It was very clear that we were not welcome and she made no attempt to even mask it. Her loss will be another store's gain! Stay away from this store unless you like to be treated like yesterday's bread. To the owners: I hope you recognize and respect that customers come in as many shades as your fabric display!
