My wedding is this weekend, and I could not thank Lara at the Papery enough for all the things she…read morehelped me with. I met her at a bridal show and set up and appointment with her as well as a few other local stationary stores. I went to one before The Papery, and thought that maybe I should have budgeted much higher for invitations. But at my appointment with Lara, I cancelled my other appointments at the other places and bought my invitations on the spot. Not only did they have great prices, but Lara was so knowledgeable on wording, etiquette, and elegance. She knew exactly what I wanted. I got so many compliments on my beautiful invitations! They even printed the addresses for me at a low additional cost. Thinking I would be done with The Papery, I kept going back for everything else! They did my welcome cards, ceremony programs, place cards, etc. Most of these were provided by my venue, but I wanted that extra special touch that Lara put into my invitations. After I get married, I am sure to go back to have Lara help me with my Thank You cards! All in all, I highly recommend them!!

My co-workers and I had such a fabulous team-building experience with Max at Chester Candle…read moreCompany! Max shared the story behind the candle company and his family's businesses, then walked us through the candle-making process in a way that was informative, relaxed, and so much fun. We brought our own food and beverages and had a great time creating, laughing, and spending time together outside of work. Our candles were ready the very next day, and I am SO happy with how mine turned out! Such a fun and unique idea for a team-building event. We will absolutely be back!

I know absolutely nothing about yarn or knitting. However, I needed to pick up a gift for a friend…read morewho is *very* much into it so I dropped by The Blue Purl while visiting Madison. I am very happy I did! The Blue Purl is a beautiful shop. It looks like you're hanging out in someone's beautiful den (who just happens to LOVE knitting with TONS of yarn on shelves). Here's the brilliant part: The Blue Purl has several preset kits you can buy as gifts. Each one includes all the yarn you will need with a card or paper inside with color photos showing you what the end product will look like. This was *perfect*! I wound up finding a set and it made for a super easy purchase. One more fun thing: the shop owners will also wind the yarn for you at no additional cost. This is probably old hat for knitters but for me this was a very cool thing to witness so I had some fun too! I highly recommend The Blue Purl if you need gifts for a knitter or need supplies for yourself.

horrible experience! the first time he made the t-shirts not as we had agreed.I didn't say anything…read morebecause it can happen that we don't understand each other. Of course I pay for everything. Price 20 dollars for each t shirt. I show up with my husband and we make the new t shirt correctly. I ask to pay for the shirt but he, in front of everyone, says it's free. We thank him and leave. I go back alone and order 20 t-shirts. He gives me the same price saying that I remembered wrong and that he can't do less. I say thank you but I can't spend that money. He nervously, in revenge, asks me for the money for the shirt given to me for free, otherwise he would have kept it. I, frightened by the behaviour and the total lack of professionalism and respect towards women (when a man behaves differently!) paid. We all have a price...and I gave him the $20. I thought about calling the police but it seemed dangerous. they were all men and no one said a word. Really unprofessional and dangerous
