Yummy sandwiches for lunch! Pretty large portion sizes, I had to give the last few bites to my boyfriend for him to finish for me. Loved how thin the cutlet was on the sandwich I got. Service was super quick and friendly, we could tell that he actually cared about giving us a good experience which was nice. Awesome sandwich spot! Sandwich options are vast and I would love to try all the different kinds. The fries were really good too! They were out of the truffle aioli that went with ours unfortunately but it was still delicious. The sandwiches are definitely more food than you think and you will not leave hungry. Several months ago I saw one of the staff at Boustan come in with an iced coffee that looked very good and asked where they got it. They indicated it was from across the street, so being a good time and good weather for an iced coffee I checked it out. One of the owners served me most enthusiastically, and I got a small iced coffee with oat milk. I drank it slowly on a bench and enjoyed it to the last drop. I then went back for a Blondie Oreo brownie that caught my eye earlier. Getting them at the same time would of allowed for me to wash down the brownie which was excellent but rich. But, oh well. The other partner was sitting at a table and was also pleasant to speak to. The space is small but clean. They have an A-frame out front with the names, photos and prices of their sub sandwiches. I would need to come back to try those, so this rating is only with respect to the two items I tried. It might seem simple to run a small cafe-sandwich-goodie shop but it's harder than it may seem and on your feet. read more
