Aloha fellow BES' Kine Goodies Seekers!…read more I LOVE MANUELA MALASADAS so.stop by every time I go to Costco! They are right across the street so I may drive to the lot right next to the truck or just run across the street ! It's a cute, very clean food truck right off the hotel driveway & parking lot with parking stalls right near it in case you buy a bunch to take home. Or have a car full of luggage from your flight to Maui since it's just down the way from OGG airport. Malasadas put donuts to shame!!! ESPECIALLY if you like gooey fillings & toppings. My favorite ones are around Christmas but they have tons of regular fillings. I can never get less than three because I can't pass up my chance to try new ones. They have wonderful staff... especially the manager Sabrina...really know their way around dough and they do not scrimp on the Malasadas itself or the fillings! They ONLY cook just for you... so plan a few minutes wait but they have picnic tables under a tarp right there or you can walk around the other food trucks. But definitely at least take your first bites there while they're hot out of the frier!!! 'Only ONE piece of advice: ... G O. H U N G R Y !!!! ...

Of course, I ran over and ordered a bunch of different filled Malasadas. Manuela Malasadas did not disappoint my family and me. Lilikoi was my favorite. Everything is made to order and always so fresh! A few days later, my family and I had to come back again for seconds! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I guarantee you wifey & I went visit more than once during our stay! I stay lil' bit older now, so the doc said I gotta cut back on my sugar some because my levels are nearing pre-diabetic status. I tried to resist for as long as I could...but 2nd day on Maui ah, had to give in! I blame the humidity HA! Needed to cool down! So off we go! On our multiple visits we went sample: -Thai Mango Sticky Rice (TWICE in 2 visits!) -Coconut Lovers - Coconut, Tiger's Blood, Pina Colada -Pick Me Up - Green Tea, Coffee, Coconut, w/ Free Snow Cap OOH those Ululani's Internation Shave Ice Desserts HIT! FIYAH! The Thai mango Sticky Rice was winnahs with us! Sweet & indulgent...but somehow not TOO sweet! Packed with treats - Roselani haupia ice cream, shave ice, mango syrup, snow cap, sticky rice, and topped with mango puree. Sooooo ONO! No can go wrong too with any of the Ululani's shave ice flavor 'combonations'. The Ulu size, add Roselani gourmet ice cream, top with snow cap (sweetened condensed milk)...then finish off with FREE sprinkle of li hing mui powder! Oh snap! Chee Hooooo! Flava explosion! Both flavor combos hit the taste buds so good - sweet, salty, cool, creamy...UMAMI! Eat outside too on the tables when you can, get plenty guest chickens & roosters that will keep you company LOL! Free entertainment! Nothing beats some Ululani's on a warm breezy spring day in Wailuku! I wish this place was here when I was in high school across the street at H.P. Baldwin! Go Bears! Go ULULANI'S!

I've tried a lot of pastries, but this is officially my favorite croissant spot. George surprised…read moreme with breakfast in bed this morning from Momona and I'm always blown away. We had the Nutella and the Lilikoi, and they are absolute units--massive, beautiful and perfectly executed. The pastry is light and incredibly fluffy, but stays dense and decadent because they don't skimp on the filling (it's actually in the center, not just a garnish on top!). The Lilikoi was a total standout--bright, fresh, and perfectly tart. I found myself breaking off the flaky layers just to dip them into that golden center. If they sold it in jars, I'd be the first in line. If you're looking for the best bakery on the island, this is it! XOXO, ChelsieFletcher

I thought the shape of this croissant was funny and I did want to try something guava. I did find it to be dry and quite bready? I've never had the cube croissant before so perhaps this is just the style of them. I liked the guava filling but thought the cube croissant part was okay. It did seem like this one had more dough than filling. - Lilikoi Croissant (between $6 and $7) - I found that this croissant was not really flaky. There was a really good filling to croissant ratio in this one. However, I did appreciate the strength of the lilikoi flavor in this croissant, and the filling did taste fresh. - Macadamia Nut Latte ($6.85)- we both got ours iced, 12 ounce and with regular milk. We honestly enjoyed these lattes more than the croissants. The macadamia flavor came through quite strong (in a good way) and was pretty unique. There is a small parking lot and lots of seating inside. We saw a couple chickens wandering around outside when we grabbed our pastries.

I mean, just check out their reviews, how could you not want to try it? Maui Pastry's dessert are Japanese style and all handmade by Ayumi, the owner. She posts pop-ups on her Instagram acount at @mauipastryayu and you seriously need to be quick. They sell out in a flash! Thankful to Bethani for giving me the heads up and hooking it up! Because of her I was able to try two delectable cheesecake flavors: Caramel Apple Cheesecake with walnut & graham cracker crust and Dark Cherry cheesecake with walnut crust. Oh my goodness, every single bite was heavenly. My favorite of the two was the caramel apple! I am not super into cheesecake, but swear, these didn't taste as heavy or overly sweet and oh the walnuts in the crust were absolutely perfect! You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every single bite. If you miss out on the pop-ups, you can put in an order for a whole cake. Place your order at least 5 days in advance and text them for any questions! I can't wait to try them again. It does cost a premium, but for a once in a while thing, I am happy to indulge ;)
