Totally instagram worthy.. it went on my story of course! I got a piccolo of the coconut sticky rice and a float of the pomegranate and lemon Perrier. The sticky rice, to my surprise it actually has rice in it! It was super dense though and but really fun to eat. Not much coconut taste though. Just pretty good. The pomegranate float with lemon Perrier was refreshing, cause both the ice cream and Perrier were ice cold. I would totally prefer this over a scoop of ice cream, to be frank. This way , you can get a sweet drink and also some softer ice cream to munch on.

My husband got the chicken and waffles, and I got the Ricky burger with fries. We also got the waffle monster to share. My husband really liked his chicken and waffle. The presentation was adorable. He said it was on the sweeter side, and he liked that. My burger was good, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Next time, I'd go for waffles or one of their baguettes. We saw our friends as well as a few other patrons and the baguettes look AMAZING. They are totally loaded up. Our friends liked there's and enjoyed the waffini as well. Their one year old loved everything. The waffle monster was the highlight for me. The biscoff added a really good touch. Our friends got the rhapsody and that also looked incredible. I would highly recommend checking them out for a sweet treat. I plan on going back to try another sweet waffle for sure. They do have Diet Coke in a can which I loved. Vegan ice cream... can't be good, right? Wrong!…read more Monkeywrench isn't just vegan; it's the best vegan ice cream I have ever had, and maybe even some of the best ice cream I have ever had. Monkeywrench is a grab-and-go spot with a few tables to eat at outside. We enjoyed our visit quite late, so the weather was perfect on a warm August night. The employees were very nice, and the service was quick. I love the support for the LGBTQ community and the anti-ICE stance at Monkeywrench. The waffle cones are to die for, and watching them pump out fresh cones by the minute was mesmerizing. The budderfinger and French Silk were both so yummy. The French Silk had these huge chunks of pie crust, which were such a great textural addition. The creaminess of the ice cream was unreal, especially given that it is vegan. He had the real revolving gelato freezer cases. Best gelato I've ever had since. This gelato is pretty good, though does not live up to being quite as authentic. I can't put my finger on it, but something about the texture is not quite right. Close, but not 100%. Still very good, though. Regular flavors. No lavender or other exotic flavors that you would find at other true Italian gelato places. But very good flavors. I recommend that you give them a try. You will like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

If you're looking for pastries that are as stunning as they are delicious, Fillings & Emulsions…read moreabsolutely delivers. Their fruit-shaped creations are little works of art--so realistic it almost feels wrong to eat them... almost. Each pastry is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. The pistachio was incredibly tasty, though definitely on the richer side, so it's one you might want to savor slowly. The raspberry had a beautifully balanced sweetness with a vibrant, delicious filling. The lemon was very zingy--almost intensely so--but still delightful if you enjoy bold citrus flavors (just maybe not an entire one in a single sitting). The standout, though, was the mango. Easily the winner. It had such a bright, powerful flavor, and the fresh mango inside made every bite feel special. Everything about it--from taste to presentation--was just beautiful. The only slight letdown was the macarons. While still good, they didn't quite match the intensity and uniqueness of the pastries and felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you appreciate creative, high-quality desserts. It's clear a lot of skill and care goes into every piece. I loved the building that the pastry shop was in, as it had a "lunch room" feel to it. There are a few restaurants inside so there are options and there's plenty of seating.

The sweet cashier recommended Strawberry & Mango, so that's what we got. They were delicious! I think the mango was my personal favorite. The location is in a food mall, which I wasn't expecting but it was so cute inside. I wish we had more time to check out the other vendors but we'll have to come back. On a separate note, it was kind of hard to find a trash can.

The bathroom is hidden to the right of the store walking in. Just a warning, the further you go in the store, the more it smells like bathroom... When I first walked in, I wasn't greeted - which is fine, there were a handful of people inside. While ordering, I had asked what was popular and what the cashier suggests, and she said "matcha". I told her it was my first time but she didn't proceed with any recommendations. I decided to go with the ube matcha with oatmilk. She then asked if I'd like cream with it, I had asked if she suggested it and she responds with "well everyone gets it with creamer". Ok so I agreed to try it out. Why not cause everyone gets it with creamer right? I waited about 10 mins, which isn't bad considering the amount of people. She called my name and had 3 other drinks with her. I asked her if the one she was handing me was with oatmilk , and she says "well that's what you ordered right" I tried it and it wasn't oatmilk. I brought it up to her attention and she kinda just said "sorry" and that was all....unfortunately, I can't say it was the best service. If I decide to come back next time, I'll only get straight matcha instead of a latte just to try again. The matcha didn't have a strong taste to it. It was on the watery side. Perhaps I came on the wrong day a they were off with their orders. Who knows...

Rockwell Ice Cream is an absolute slam dunk! You won't be disappointed here…read more I ate a lot of ice cream this summer (2026). Many of my travels included visiting a new ice cream shop (or 5). Rockwell was a quick stop on a hot SLC afternoon. I ordered the summer menu special, which was a Banana Foster. Holy cow. I have never had such deep and rich flavor in an ice cream. The wizardry they must do with those bananas to get that caramelized flavor is wild. Unfortunately, you may not have the pleasure of trying this flavor, as it was a Summer 2026 special. There are a few small tables to enjoy your scoop at. The design of the space is very clean and modern. The two dudes working during my visit were friendly and happy to offer many samples. I would bet, based on many other Yelp reviews and my experience, that many of the flavors here are likely fantastic. I am sure you will find something delicious.

$7. 2 dark chocolate truffles. Bourbon & Marzipan $5.50. 1…read moresingle scoop Spumoni It took me a minute to get my bearings in this shop. There's a craft counter, a chocolate counter, and an ice cream counter, and no clear lines or what not. At first glance, it's not immediately obvious where to focus your attention, so I went with the ice cream for here and took the chocolates walking. The owner was out on the floor chatting with customers, which gave the place a welcoming and local feel. It was nice. A few times I hovered close to him and tried to find an opening to ask him some questions about the products, but he was busy with other guests. As for the history of the business, there are enough newspaper clippings and articles on the walls to keep anyone occupied while waiting. Most of the staff appeared to be high school- or younger college-aged employees handling the day-to-day operations. The ice cream isn't made in-house (it's Farr's brand), so this review is more about the experience than the product itself. The serving size was fair, and I opted for the spumoni. Yes, really, spumoni. Three other people in our group between their twenties and forties had never even heard of the flavor before. The ice cream is scooped from a mixed single barrel rather than barrel with separated sections, so the chocolate, pistachio, and cherry had blended together. It was kind of like putting different sodas into the same cup. While I enjoy ice cream and these flavors, others might not think the same. The standout items for me were the chocolates. The bourbon chocolate came with a huge flavor punch. It was rich, bold, and intense enough that I needed a break and a glass of water afterward. It's not for the faint of heart and you need to be serious about chocolates to have an appreciation for this one. The marzipan, on the other hand, was a perfect follow-up. Not to sweet, balanced, and a very nice almond flavor. It was delicious and served as a nice palate refresher after the bourbon's performance. Between the chocolates and the owner's visible presence this was an enjoyable stop. The chocolates were easily the stars of the visit and worth it if you're in the area.
