I was experincing pressure on my ear drums so gave them a call and they set me up with an appointment right away. When I went to my appointment they looked inside my ears and said they are perfectly clean. Turns out that my presure on my ear drum's was due to allergies, not earwax like I imagined. I am writing this review because it is so hard to find businesses that turn business away anymore. I had no reason to be there, I am young with great hearing and perfectly clean ears. They could have told me and sold me on just about anything because I was afraid I ruined my ears but they didn't try to do that. They were honest and let me know everything was alright and sent me out the door without charging me a penny because I didn't need any services from them. They could have easily put me on their ear cleaning water machine and charged me and I wouldn't know the difference. Now I'm not advocating to come here to get free checkups(if they do that Idk). Im just making the point that if you do have an actual ear problem that this is the place to go. They won't try to sell you extra stuff you don't need. They weren't after my money in this experience, I truly believe they are after making people better.

So, I called Miracle Ear Hearing and asked, if, I can use it. The Receptionist gladly said, Yes! So, I went there Friday afternoon. It was a nice location right next to the Tropical Cafe. It's clean, cool and spacious inside. The have complimentary water and snacks. The Receptionist was nice and was prepared for my visit. I did not have to wait for the Audiologist. Her office is huge and the Audiology room is so cool. It's hard describe. You will have to see it for yourself. The Audiologist looked at my mailer. She said, you usually have to have some sort of problem hearing.The mailer did not indicate that. So, they were able to accept it. My gift card will come in 8 weeks. The Receptionist said, 3-4 weeks but, oh well. I would definitely recommend Miracle Ear Hearing. It's easy to find, the staff is friendly, personable and hospitalable. If you need a hearing aide check this place.

Also based on further research, Kurt Chappell is a Audiology Technician/Hearing Aid Dispenser, not an Audiologist (AuD)! I came in needing and wanting to purchase hearing aids for my friend and left after hearing Mr. Chappell's negative comments about audiologists responsible for the hearing aid reviews and recommendations appearing in "Consumer Reports," "Forbes Health Advisory Board," and "Home Media Product Review." He, also, was very critical of all hearing aids ordered/purchased on the Internet and several specific brands purchased on line. Even though we informed Mr. Chappell that we had no interest in purchasing hearing aids on line, he told us that he had never heard of anyone who purchased hearing aids on the Internet who was satisfied with them. I responded that there were many online, positive reviews from individuals who had purchased hearing aids on line and offered to bring him some of them. At this point, he stood up and started to leave the room. Their prices are high, and I do not like being nickled and dimed. There are other providers who will provide full service (excluding the post-warranty repairs) for the life of the aid.​​

Megan called several days before and was open to talking thru a complex story to better understand my moms needs and how to make sure she would be safe at rehab. She coordinated with me, the hospital and the rehab daily to make sure all went well. The floor staff have been excellent and really seem sweet with my mom. They are staffed better than I expected (staff to patient ratio) and when I have shown up unexpectedly to see my mom she is always up, dressed, fed and her bed and room are kept decent. We have had to help here and there when with her but that's more us just wanting to help out caring for our mom vs any gaps in care (IE things like help feed her, straighten her room, move out food trays, etc). The patients/family are encouraged to pick each meal for the week and the options have been varied, and my mom has actually really enjoyed them which was great because she was not eating at the hospital. She reports to me that she has done well at therapy although, of course she doesn't love it :) but all in all I'm really impressed with the way that she was taken care of at this facility. We had a short stay at a different rehab prior to this one and the comparison is night and day!
