Good experience. Everything went well. They got me in on time and were very professional. I would recommend this dentist office.

The WORST! Go here if you want to be disrespected and jerked around. They wanted documentation of a…read moremedical issue from 15 years ago, which I could not provide. Two days prior to my appointment they told me to get authorization "from a doctor so that they can prescribe antibiotics". In desperation I called my primary care physician, who told me Crestal can prescribe antibiotics. I called Crestal back the next day, told them what the doctor said, and hey presto! All of a sudden they can prescribe - after wasting hours of my time. I am a schoolteacher. I *repeatedly* told Crestal not to call me during school hours. They called me EIGHT TIMES IN TWO DAYS, during school hours. Finally I made it plain to them - I have autistic students, students with no English, I am not permitted to make or receive calls during the school day, so STOP CALLING. The chirpy little twitch on the phone then told me, "Well then! If you won't talk with us when we want, this isn't the office for you, so now your appointment is cancelled!" and SLAMMED DOWN THE PHONE. They're snotty, disrespectful and generally unpleasant. I communicated all of this to my referring dentist, who was happy to refer me to another office. I called that new office and they told me that there should never have been an issue about things 15 years ago, or antibiotics, or any of it, it was all unnecessary. And they were polite, and scheduled me an appointment after school hours. SKIP CRESTAL, go somewhere else unless you like being disrespected and jerked around.

I literally couldn't eat or DRINK anything for two weeks and had extensive issues with the same for a mont. I lost 20 lbs as a result and was only 120 lbs when I went to see him. The graft, especially from the right of my pallet, has permanent nerve damage. I can feel where the graft was to this day and it was 2 years ago. The whole process was difficult and I didn't receive support on what to do with the issues I was having after. I was often not treated as a valued patient. I would seek out a different perio dentist. Before this, I had no fear or hesitation with dentists. Now I am definitely scared on any future work I may need.

They had watched it continuously yearly. It decided it was "not playing games anymore" and I knew it was infected. I went to urgent care and all the doctor had to do was look at my gums near that tooth to know there was an issue. She prescribed Augmentin. As the tooth had the root canal, I didn't have an idea an infection was there, until the day after Christmas. I couldn't bend down without it throbbing. I couldn't touch way up at the root area without it hurting, and because of where the tooth is located, I couldn't smile or laugh without pain. This Endo Group got me in ASAP so that Dr. Choi could look at it. X-rays were taken, and he confirmed that there was indeed an infection, and that the best option at this juncture would be a procedure in layman's terms, where they go into the gum and clean out all the diseased and infectious tissue, cut a small part of the tip of your root off, and then fill the top off so that nothing gets back down into the root. Dr. Choi did state that he doesn't preform this particular procedure and that only Dr. Nagel does, so they booked me with Dr. Nagel very quickly too considering this was all during the holidays for another consult. Dr. Nagel stated he could perform it after looking at my X-rays and the tooth, and conveyed to me that if I desired to get this tooth fixed more quickly, he worked mostly out of the Framingham office. (I did meet with him and Dr. Choi originally in Milford) When I asked the scheduling department what they could do, luckily for me someone canceled, and I could have the procedure done the day after I saw Dr. Nagel, but in Framingham. The procedure was painless as Dr. Nagel knows exactly how much local is needed, & I felt nothing. The procedure was also extremely quick. You're booked for an hour, but most of that is simply prep (numbing) and it felt like he wasn't in my mouth that long. When we did speak during consult, I did convey to him, that I am the type of individual that doesn't desire a play by play of what someone is doing in my mouth as I suffer from panic attacks. He stated he would only tell me when he needed to leave to take X-rays, which made me feel better. He also asked me NUMEROUS times how I was doing. So he not only performed a pain free surgical procedure, but he made sure that you were doing well every step of the way. They even gave you a blanket if you felt cold. There was ZERO bleeding afterwards because of the cauterizing he did as well. So you're not walking out with a whole bunch of gauze. Or blood all over your lips. He prescribed Amoxicillin, a prescription mouth wash, and I don't like pain killers, so he gave me 800 ibuprofen which you don't even need to take much of it. I'm on day 5 of healing, and I think I took 1 for three days. Not the 2 as I didn't need it. It's healing outside of the gum wonderfully. You wouldn't know he did anything to you. He did inform me on what to expect. I had no bruising which I was happy about (but he stated that could occur), minor swelling that has went down to almost nothing. He genuinely cares about his patients and their concerns. He listens attentively, and you will see that, as he's performing your procedure (whether it's a root canal, or an apic that I had performed) that he listens to all your fears and makes sure you are doing wonderfully every step of the way. He's excellent in post op care instructions, so you know exactly what to expect and what you can and can't do. If I ever need another root canal or this particular procedure, I would not hesitate to book him in a heartbeat. Thank you Dr. Nagel for being an exceptional doctor. It is appreciated more than you'll ever know.

Very much like others(Whom have commented) the office staff leaves MUCH to be desired. I paid my bill in full for the amount i expected and had been told. That was my last visit in Sept. In February i received a email saying i owed 470.00 for a CT scan. I paid in full what i was told to pay in Sept. I contacted the office and asked why the first i was hearing about this was 5 months later and the response was i owe the money. I told them i paid in full I paid 5500+ on my final visit. Today i received a call from a collection agency saying i had been delinquent since Sept. and payment was due in full. I pay my bills, excellent credit score and to be sent to a collection agency and effect my credit over there shooty billing is a place i would stay far away from. I also will be in touch with my referring dentist. I hope they enjoy the $470.00 dollars as i am hopeful this will help others not get caught in what seems to be a common sneaky pratice.

I chose to bring my daughter to this practice on the recommendation of our Orthodontist for a…read moresurgical procedure as part of the work with her braces. Her recovery has been good, with no complications to speak of (only two weeks in at time of writing this). So the services provided by Dr. Wardius appear to have met expectations. Unfortunately, the office experience left something to be desired. While a comfortable and soothing ambiance make for nice experience, day of, I was disappointed with poor communication with the office staff around the costs involved. After completing our consult visit and scheduling the surgery I asked for a cost estimate and was presented with expected costs, based on expected insurance coverages. Two weeks later these were updated based on an uncovered service performed at the consult (a CT scan), and I was provided what I understood to be final numbers (assuming that nothing would change during the procedure that would require additional services or coverage-wise from insurance). On the day of the procedure, everything proceeds as expected. No additional services needed or performed and payment requested matches the estimate I had been provided. Two weeks later I am now being charged for a service (the CT scan) that was supposed to have already been accounted for, as I was told that it had been, two weeks prior to the procedure. But they are telling me that I mis-read the email when they said "The balance was added to the patient account." If so, that estimate should reflect that amount. When a customer is quoted a price for promised services to be rendered, and those exact services are what is completed, then that price shouldn't change after the fact. Trying to discuss this with the office manager was the final straw as she was more interested in expediting the call, crossing it off her to-do list and getting off the phone than to honestly hear the concern and frustration that a client had with their experience. This "problem customer" as I am sure to be referenced as behind their closed doors, could have been a learning experience for the team so that they could better understand how to service their customer's needs. Instead it was so much more transactional and disappointing. I will be sure to pass this experience back to the original referring office and to find another practice for my son when he is due up in the coming years.
