Just very uncomfortable felt like I was not wanted there since the moment I walked in.

The services seems good but not really cheap so I decided to give it a try. I called to schedule an appt to make sure I won't be waiting when I get to the place. I went back to have it fixed and the woman at the register was ignorant. She kept blaming me for the nail chipping saying I banged it and chipped it. She was pulling my finger and squeezing it. We checked in two women took us over to the pedicure chairs and had started our pedicures and it wasn't Kim again. It was my first time there so I didn't know who she was. The pedicures weren't bad, but we had to keep asking them to either cut my father's nails shorter, which the girl seemed afraid to do and then we both had problems with ingrown luckily Khoi was available to come over and check mine. He was super nice and friendly and welcoming. Again the pedicures were just OK. The technicians really didn't talk much or I think there was just a communication barrier. I do plan on going back only to see Kim or Khoi. I woke up today and I'm not sure what happened to my big toes. I have skin peeling that wasn't there before and my calluses on both of my big toes. Are this funny color extremely red and round this has never happened to me. So that's my only other concern. The atmosphere in the salon is great. It is super clean. Everyone seems to be friendly and the prices are reasonable again. I will be going again and I wish I got the two technicians names we saw because I wouldn't recommend them.

I got a manicure and pedicure and I pretty much came on time like three minutes before they opened since I didn't know where to go at first and it was my first time coming to this place for a nail appointment. The place is pretty big and spacious and it was pretty quiet probably because it's the weekday too, the person who did my nails was pretty nice and quick and she did what I asked. It was just a simple French nail, but in a different style both service and in about an hour, they have options to pay like Venmo and Apple Pay if you use Venmo, I think you get a 10% off so that was a good plus I didn't know about it at first, but it's a good thing. Might come back next time if I need some nail touch up

I feel that there is only one (really excellent) worker from the switch over (and she is super excellent so if you get her...you totally luck out). If you don't...the others are ok..decent job. The reason for the 3 stars is the pedicure chair kept stopping and I had to hit the button multiple times. I even asked them to help me make it stay on longer...they said "I don't know". Half of the pedicure experience is the massage chair. You would think that they would move me to a new chair...as all others were empty...nope. As I said..for me...the quality of manicure/pedicure is good, but the pedi chairs need an update...which is why I only gave it 3 stars.

I get builder gel every 3-4 weeks and it lasts really well. My nails always look great and I get lots of compliments on them. I usually see Mirana and she does an excellent job. They offer drinks and snacks, and the vibe is friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the Boston area. Definitely recommend!

UPDATE: The owner reached out to me directly and apologized for the misunderstanding with the gift…read morecard. I went back today and was able to use it, no problem. There were also some changes I saw this time that have taken effect since the change in ownership - there is now an online booking feature which is great, the massage and overall time with each customer was longer too. The women who work here are still fabulous and I'm glad that hasn't changed. ------------------------------------------------ I hate leaving less than stellar reviews, especially for a small businesses I've gone to for over a decade, but at this point I'm frustrated. The prices are a little high ($45) for a quick basic pedicure (20-25 min). But the women are friendly and getting an appointment is usually easy, even without online booking. What brings me here is that I went to use a gift card given to me for Mother's Day just 2 months ago and was unable to use it. Apparently the management/owner changed since the middle of May, although there were no signs before the change when my husband bought the gift card or when I went this week. What's frustrating is that I wasn't permitted to use it even though up front, before my service I said I had a gift card. As soon as I tried to pay they mentioned the new owner won't take those purchased before she took over. In a way I get it, it's not profits she'll realize, but as a customer what am I to do? It hasn't been 6+ months, there were no signs indicating the owner had even changed. I can't continue to support a business that can't give a grace period to loyal customers. It really stinks that my Mother's Day gift was a total waste.

So far I have had two with her and definitely plan on coming back. I have also had nail services with Ava, structure gel mani, Dazzle Dry manis and spa pedicures. She is absolutely fantastic, super easy to talk to, very detail oriented and when I was apprehensive to speak up about something (which I did and it totally wasn't a big deal) she reiterated to me that if I had questions about anything, not to be worried about saying something because she wants me to leave happy. And boy , do I leave happy! The owner is also very nice and super knowledgeable and in the future, I definitely want to look into possibly getting IPL photo facial for my rosacea.
