Later on I found out from my friends who work in the dental industry (dentist, hygenists) that you should only get fillings replace if you really need or if they really bother you. If you get them replaced again, it is a waste and they will just end up digging a bigger hole in your teeth which puts you in higher risks of getting root canal & cavities. Avoid this place if you can and find a much better, less aggressive, less money hungry and more professional dental office. This office have high turnovers in hygenists as his mom scares them away and he mismanages them. The main dentist Dr. Peter Ngo likes upsell bill insurance for extra services for more $$. Don't listen & trust his recommendations such as getting a new filling bc your old ones are getting old. This is not a strong a valid reason. He is greedy & just wants to bill insurance aggressively for more $$. Always seek a second opinion. Ever since we got a new dentist things are much better. Dr. Peter Ngo performed 2 oral gum surgery on my husband gums which was unnecessary for more insurance $$. Now our new dentists told us to just use Waterpix after we floss. Now there are no more gum issues. No need for gum surgery & no more gum disease. So always seek a 2nd opinion before you listen to Dr. Peter Ngo. He is also unprofessional, likes to gossip about others just like his mother and ask lots of personal questions. Stay away from this office if you can. We would not recommend anyone to come here!

She is caring and professional. The receptionist is pleasant and helpful. The hygienist and the dental assistant are gentle and efficient in their work. Overall it is a wonderful experience to go to the dentist. There is no pain and no fear here. Dr. Razi is the best dentist in my lifetime. I truly recommend this dental office.

The two hygienists who have worked on me have also been fantastic - I have some sensitive particular areas and they have been very careful and able to give cleanings much more gently than the dental office I used to frequent. No one likes going to the dentist, so I'd like to just go and get my teeth cleaned without the nonsense. Luckily, Scarlett Road Dentistry is excellent, professional, courteous and efficient. They work quickly and quietly and it's all very pleasant, (for a dentist). There are no extra perks that you might get in a boutique place-- no TVs in the treatment rooms or anything else fancy, but you're not upsold on any expensive or unnecessary nonsense, either. All the hygienists are extremely professional, kind and quick, and Dr. Levy is equally so. I like that everyone seems to be happy working there--sign of a good working environment, which I hugely appreciate. Highly recommend.

I followed him from his original practice at Bathurst and Bloor to his current practice at Wilson and Jane. I've lived in Ottawa for over a decade and believe it or not, I make the trek to Toronto twice a year to see Dr. Tran (I make a mini vacation out of it, of course, but I refuse to switch dentists to someone more local). I have a lot of hardware in my mouth. Sure, my smile is nice now but it's a result of a lot of orthodontic manpower, and pain and tears on my part in the past. I have permanent retainers bonded to the back of my teeth, so cleaning my teeth requires a lot of patience and skill as not to break the hardware. I know a lot of people who have had their retainers broken by dental cleanings (done by people other than my dentist). My dentist does my cleaning himself. He's very skilled and cleanings are painless. He has never broken my retainer. He's open on the weekends - even Sundays (but closes Mondays and Tuesdays) to accommodate people who work on weekdays. He's very nice and friendly. The location is a bit out of the way from downtown, but it's in a strip mall so there's lots of free parking. It's also easily accessible by TTC. There's the North York Sheridan Mall across the street, which is where I poke around if I arrive too early. He's a long way from it, but I don't know what I'll do when he retires. I try not to think about it, lol.
