Their house made noodles are bomb
Cheryl G.

Myself and a couple girlfriends had lunch here today. They have a really nice lunch special, $25 all you can eat. You can't get some of the most desirable things, like shrimp, for example on the lunch menu. I get that though it's pricey and in order to keep it approachable for lunchtime, they had to make some choices. We went with the house broth and the tomato broth. They were both good, but I didn't think the tomato broth was just a tad on the watery side. I've been to other hot pot places that have a lot more flavor. The meats all tasted very high-quality. We had lamb shoulder, sliced ribeye, pork belly, fish, and fish balls. We also had some pumpkin which I loved, enoki mushrooms, Napa cabbage and pea sprouts. The star for me are the fresh noodles that they make in house. I absolutely love them. They cook up so nicely in the broth and come out perfectly chewy. They have a good sauce bar as well with some little salad salads. My personal favorite is the wood eared mushroom salad. Don't miss out on the ice cream at the end! The green tea option was very nice. The interior is nice and clean. Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable. They do play a weird mashup of K-pop and country music. Seems sort of like an interesting choice for this restaurant, but I'm not mad at it.

The food at Mongolian Hot Pot was good and the staff were friendly. However, the service was quite slow. It seemed like they might not have enough staff during busy hours.

Service was awesome this day!! They are sooooo friendly! Plenty of tables and clean! Broth is excellent! Bone broth and house spicy! The intestines are the best!!!!! Love this place! So good!

You order they bring, sooo much food. Service is fast also. Broth was good, we tried our best to make the best hot pot possible lol. My husband and I are not professionals at it so it wasn't as good as we would had wish for. Our friends seem to enjoy cooking their own hot pot, o wish I was a pro at it.

This was my only pic sorry lol and they really need some air fresher in the back area.

I really wanted to give this place more stars but compared to other spots I've been too, this spot just lacks enough hot pots per table. I'm not sure about y'all but ever since Covid, I'm even more aware of germs! They literally will have the whole table share the same hot pot! Eeeeeuuuuuuckk lol but luckily I was with good friends but still kinda nasty! Also this creates a problems bc not everyone's tastes buds are the same and I wanted to add more stuff but didn't want to be rude bc it wasn't just my portion of the pot. I recommend only going here with one person and if you are going to take multiple people. Go in separately and have multiple tables lol. Essentially they are making more money by not providing more hotpot's but essentially making you pay for an individual hot pot but you don't get your own side/portion of the pot if there is more than two people! They need to fix this asap. The broth was good enough but they lack sides unlike Shabu Shabu that had plenty. I also didn't like their seafood choices but they do get kudos for the ambit of noodles they offer.

Be sure to ask for your dessert! It's nothing too fancy, but with your All You Can Eat a dessert comes with it. Great place for families and large parties. We went on a Sunday 2:30pm. We were sat quickly. You order on a sheet and the server will bring your items out. There is a self serve bar so if the server didn't bring those items, you'll most likely grab it from the self serve bar. Warning: The Sichuan Spicy Bone Broth is HOT HOT! I should have removed the block of spice and just had mild spice. Enjoyed the selections. Wish there was more dessert options for All You Can Eat. $36 per person weekend price.

I didn't like the variety of soup bases here but the meat quality is high. The original house soup base tasted bland had dried spices floating on top and the spicy house soup base had a lot of chopped up dried chillies on top that was a choking hazard as well. They have a big variety of meats including wagyu and lamb and seafood and veggies and noodles. They also have meat skewers and pot stickers/dumplings and cold side dishes. I think my favorite part was the tender wagyu meat dipped in the sesame sauce, cucumber salad, pot stickers, and the strawberry and matcha ice cream. Service could be better. Would be easier to order through an iPad than to say every dish and have them forget a few dishes.

The first time I've ever been here was when I was 8, and even with the numerous amount of times I've come back here since then, this place has NEVER disappointed me -- even more so now since they've released their AYCE menu again. Sure, the service *can* feel a little slow when they are fully packed, but the quality of the food here is just unmatched and definitely makes up for that. What I love most in particular here is their soup bases. To me, it's more than just an instrument to cook my food in, it's something that I look forward to drinking as I eat everything else. I mean, it's just nice to have a solid soup that not only imbues its flavor onto whatever you cook in it, but can also stand by itself without feeling too overpowering.

My parents' new go-to for hot pot. For lunch it's $25 per person. It's clean. They have good quality meat and fresh veggies. Service is nice. The mango tea and watermelon juice are both delightful. Prob not so good for parties bigger than five. Came here on a Saturday at 1pm and sat right away.

This is my first time experiencing hot pot, and I was not disappointed. To be honest there was something intimidating about the whole experience at first, but there was a great waiter who made the process easy. Mongolian Hot Pot, in particular is my daughter's favorite. This will be a definite return as I enjoyed it extremely.

Ask the Community - Mongolian Hot Pot

Will birthday person eat for free?

When I was there a few weeks ago I saw a sign out front that said "eat free on your birthday". So yes, I think that is the case. You can definitely call the restaurant to confirm though.

05/28/2025: Do they still have ayce special? If so, on what day?

Ayce all day every day, the special only for none ayce during lunch

Do they still do AYCE now?

Yep!

Has the AYCE started for this year? What is the price per person now?

Yes now they have AYCE every day now. Weekday Lunch is $25.95 per person, Weekday Dinner + Weekend is $35.95 per person. They also offer child price.

Do they do all you can eat every day?

They only do it in summer time

Do they still do AYCE on tuesdays?

No more AYCE this year. Will back next May of first Tuesday

Are they pet-friendly?

I wouldn't bring your pet inside since the boiling broth is so hot. Maybe if they have outside seating (they did during the height of COVID) that would be safer. I also don't think it's pet friendly inside.

Is there still happy hour specials during COVID?

Yes

Do they offer all you can eat at this location?

Yes they do!

Is this place safe for someone with peanut and cashew allergies?

Everything for the hot pot pretty much comes out raw. I don't recall them ever using nuts like how Thai restaurants do. The three main dipping sauces are bbq, sesame, and bean curd. I'd mention the allergy just in case, though.

Do they offer a selection of dipping sauces?

A small selection and you have to ask the waiter for them. There is no sauce bar. Just ask, and they will provide you with sesame sauce, cilantro, garlic, etc.

Is it ayce right now? If so, what time does it start?

Yes,all day Tuesday $34.95/adult $19.95/6-12 yrs old kid… Read more

Did anyone confirm if their soup base can be made vegan?

Yes, the mushroom broth is vegan and can be made spicy also. Tastes just as good, if not better per my meat loving family.

Is the all you can Tuesday still going on?

No more. Only summer time from May to Sep. Hey, you can try Shabu Works, they are previously… Read more

Does this restaurant have vegetarian broth options?

Yes! On the menu for broth options, there is a vegetarian mushroom broth option.

What is the time-frame of the lunch specials?

We went in Nov 2017. It was from 11:30 am to 3 pm.

How handicap accessible is this Resturant?

Handicap parking with a ramp up the curb is two doors away. The front door is two doors wide. I don't believe that the door has automatic opening, but there is usually a host near the door. The first tables have chairs that can be removed for a… Read more

When checking in be aware your whole party must be there to be seated and it is likely that you will end up next to another party as there are no separate tables. They have premium meats and know that it is NOT AYCE like some other shabu shabu places, so beware it will be a bit pricy depending on what you choose. You pick a broth, a rice, a noodle, a protein and you get a plate of veggies and sauces. You get an individual pot to mix your food to your liking. It is SO GOOD. I have never had a bad experience here. My go-to order is a mix of the tonktosu and spicy miso broth along with double wagyu shortrib and extra udon noodles. It's rich and filling and the veggies are fresh. I like to sub out certain veggies to get extra of others I like better (like mushrooms). I would eat here every single day if I could. If you don't finish your rice and broth they'll put it in a to-go container for you so you can have your "porridge" later. Drink menu is good too, they have rotating selection of drinks available, as well as sake, wine, and beer on tap.

We walked in and just one other couple was dining. Happy hour from 5-6. Our waitress immediately explained how the menu worked and gave us cooking tips. I ordered the miso broth with pork and toro. We also had the chuck roll and brisket. The chuck roll and the pork were delicious. Would definitely skip the toro and brisket next time. The veggies they served were all great (mushrooms, emoji, bok choy, carrot, spinach, kabocha squash, with the exception of a bit too much cabbage). The experience can a little a bit of an endeavor if you've never done it solo, as you solely have to pay constant attention to the pot while trying to eat at the same time. It can be hard to hold a conversation when your food is boiling boiling hot! Definitely a laborous experience but a fun one!
