Cannot say enough about how positive my experience was with the team at SPFCU!!! Stephanie and team…read morewere ridiculously helpful and made opening new accounts simple and easy, at least as humanly possible. Let's be candid, the way laws are written these days banks HAVE to ask and treat what would previously be common sense as barriers to people to manage they're finances. Going in having a reasonable understanding the rules, even if not liking them, I'll say this: The experience at SPFCU far exceeds ANYTHING the big corporate banks will do, and while there will always be hiccups, the experience working with a smaller community bank will be far more cooperative and productive. Thank you SPFCU Team!!!

Arlington in Reno yesterday. After explaining what I was trying to do, she was able to sit down with me, gather the information needed to apply for the loan and I was quickly approved. She was super friendly, very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I was able to reduce my monthly payment and lower the interest rate. SPCU was able to accomplish what I wanted to achieve easily. This was a positive experience for me and I highly recommend SPCU and am considering doing additional business with them in the future.

I have been a longtime customer of US Bank. I usually pop by this branch to use the ATM, because it…read moreis a convenient location when leaving my house. I suspect this particular ATM is very popular, because I have had a handful of times when the drive-thru ATM doesn't have cash or only has large bills. When this happens to me it is always a bummer, but this branch also has a walk-up ATM which is accessible 24 hours a day. Between the two ATMs, I have always been able to take care of my business. I have also used this branch for notary services which are free--for customers at least; not sure about non-customers. It's always easy to take care of business when inside the grandiose, and somewhat 90's retro, lobby and office space. Most recently I met with Erin who was very friendly even though I was a little unorganized with a reschedule then showing up late for my rescheduled appointment. Totally my fault, but she didn't miss a beat and promptly helped me with my business in the branch.

I have been to this branch several times - to cash a check (former US bank customer here), to make…read moredeposits (when the ATM was down), to wait for another customer to have a document notarized, and on this most recent trip, to do a real estate closing for a US Bank customer. On almost every visit, things were fine, no issues. That is, until today's visit. My client, a US Bank customer, chose this branch to meet since he thought it would be the most convenient place to meet. important note - this real estate closing was for a US Bank product and I've conducted such closings at a number of US Bank branches in town; and each time, I was allowed to meet with clients at either an empty desk/office or in the conference room. After all, the documents contained confidential information. Moreover, my client he's completed two (2) closings at this same location, yet the tellers I spoke with acted like it was a foreign concept, as explained below. At any rate, once my client arrived, I asked the teller if we could use one of the desks (many empty desks were available). The male teller (short black hair) simply said "no" and looked away. I told him the papers pertained to a US Bank product, but he waved me off to another teller. I said a quick explanation to the other teller, then she disappeared to the back without a word. Frustrated, my client and I just went to a nearby table and started the closing. A couple minutes later, a lady came out from behind closed doors and I explained the situation to her, then she pointed us to an empty desk and I thanked her. But not before she asked why this transaction wasn't sent to someone at the branch since there were notaries amongst them. I explained that the title company sends out the orders. Then my client and I moved to the empty desk and completed our transaction before leaving. Why 2 stars? Because I have had good experiences here and while today's was not the best, it wasn't that bad.
