The way everyone looked at me when I walked in was like I was covered in dogsh*& and smelled just the same. Nobody knew my circumstanses nor did they care. I pulled out my title, my drivers license and started the application. They had me go to my vehicle and they looked it over, had me start the car and drive back and forward. Now mind you, I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer with a few dings and such. I get it. She's an old vehicle. She's been beat (like me, running from an abusive boyfriend, hence, why I SO DESPERATELY NEEDED THIS LOAN). During the paperwork process they get on the phone with their supervisor and are discussing my vehicle. Let's just say that they were not at all professional and made me feel worse than I already did. I didn't ask to get beat and abused, and I needed a way out. That WAS my way out. So needless to say, I walked away feeling battered and bruised AGAIN. They denied my loan and sent me on my way. Last night, he hit me so many times I lost count. I will probably die by the hands of this man. If Loanmax would have given me the loan, I would have been gone to a safe shelter and finaly free of this hell.
