Never a good business practice to talk over customers to "banksplain". Understand that with this CU, they will aggressively seek your money for CDs and other investment vehicles and at the end of your term (26 months in my case) you will be notified (by mail, in 8 pt font) that you have 10 days to renew, switch, transfer, or withdraw your money. Understand that 10 days is NOT business days and does not consider holidays (New Years Day). Ok fine. Your money will be rolled into another CD. If you call 7 business days (11 calendar days) sorry, you will be penalized HEAVILY (nearly $800 in my case). You have no one to speak to that will listen to your grievance including 3 receptionist/tellers. When you ask to speak to Megan (the "manager") you will leave 3 voice messages and she still will not call you. You will have to keep calling until they get frustrated enough to take your call. The customer is NOT always right, but should be listened to and taken seriously. Especially when money is involved. DO NOT TRUST Northern Colorado CU with your money.

I was getting my account number , I had called my credit union and was on hold.. She said they had to call -as if I was not trustworthy! When I asked her what her name was She didn't want to give it to me. I stood there till she told me her name. All I can figure after this experience is she must be guilty of something treating a long standing good credit, loyal customer this way. Maybe she is untrustworthy. This credit union is a sister to my credit union. I will look for another sister credit union in Colorado to do business with while I'm in Colorado from now on.
