We had an overall, great experience from start to finish. Takeaways: Dinner: 8.6/10 - subjective Debra (bartender): 10/10 (god dam she makes a drink - and you WANT to be around her). Night cap espresso martinis in the room were amazing! Breakfast (8:30-10:00am): 9/10 (could not believe how good that was for 'complimentary breakfast' which makes people nervous ) The Room: 7.8/10 - older but clean. This is an inn!! Quaint quiet clean - the bedroom TV didn't work - disappointing before bed, but not the reason we're here. Also, maid forgot hand soap for the room. FUN moment: we made (hand) soap at one of shops on Main Street- (cost $3.48 , had a lot left over lol) - was a fun oversight that made me make soap, by chance! Overall Service: 9.5/10. From the front desk to every waitstaff encountered , what a (small) lovely staff who truly makes you feel welcomed, not a bother in anyway and happy to be there. Sometimes a venue makes the experience special and sometimes the service makes the venue special. They are why we will return. From ideation, to custom menu design, to contract reviews, paperwork including proof of insurance, and payment, Kevin was incredibly professional, flexible, responsive, and ultimately was the determining factor in ensuring our family (with young kids) would actually be able to enjoy the vacation without worrying about cooking, ordering in, or carpooling far distances on windy, dark roads. Kevin and team were also dog and kid friendly. Beyond the professionalism, the food and service were absolutely outstanding. It was hard to believe, but each meal was better than the last, as were the quality of the ingredients used. We would recommend Chef Kevin to anyone seeking relative affordability and a great value yet making zero sacrifices around taste, quality, and service. We are happy to write this review and support Kevin. We expect when we reach out for our next family event that Kevin will have a team of 100+. There is no better - Kevin and team won't disappoint.

So chilly that Juanita was wearing a Winter knit hat the whole time I was there. The prices are OK. Some things seem very reasonable yet other things make no sense - like having to pay a pretty penny for Chips and Salsa. Being that every Mexican restaurant gives you chips and salsa for free, it's odd to have to pay for it. Not being offered water, and having to pay for a bottle water is also a bit lame. As for the food. I got a veggie burrito. It was OK. A nice mix of veggies. Not overly flavorful but not bad either. The close out this lackluster lunch was someone presenting me with a credit card reader. I was never shown a bill, just a card reader with the total on the screen - not cool and a tad rude. Being that they oddly left the handheld device with me I toyed around with it to find a screen readout with the itemized bill - which was correct - but I really shouldn't have to take their word that the bill is correct. I really wanted to like the place but I left wondering what all the hype is about. Reading someone say that this was the best Mexican food they've ever had makes me think that they either haven't eaten at more than 3 or 4 Mexican restaurants in their life or they're pulling our leg.
