I have purchased two used Toyotas in the past from Moncton Honda. I financed both and had no problems. I tried to purchase a third used Toyota from them this time in cash so I went to KBB.ca and offered them a price that was suggested for a dealer which was approximately $500 less than their asking price. They just said no. No counteroffer, nothing. You would think that they would want to keep repeat customers but I guess not. I will never buy from them again. read more

Wish I could give them zero stars. Ever since my initial purchase of a brand new vehicle in 2018, I have had nothing but problems. The problems I experienced are ALL due to the incompetence of the Moncton Honda dealership staff and are not a reflection of the actual Honda product. -Initial delivery, they washed my car with what I can only assume was a bag of rocks. Fought with them to get it detailed. Should have been my first clue to run. -They installed the front license plate so poorly one side fell off and scratched the bumper. They had to drill new holes. -Had tires and rims stored there for Winter, they lost them. -Had an MVI done and paid for tire inflation, got my car with 10psi in 3 tires and one with 35psi.... and they charged me for the inflations service they never did! -Had a broken marker light (one THEY broke) replaced (and they tried to bill ME for it). They installed the wheel well plastic back improperly after installing marker light. Was told it was supposed to be that way and that I am wrong. I compared it to another car on the lot and showed them then they agreed I was right and they had to fix their mistake. -They replaced the A/C condenser due to a recall and broke the clips that hold the front bumper in place. They GLUED my bumper back in place hoping I wouldn't notice. 6 months passes and the glue failed under the heat of the sun and I took it in as it appeared misaligned. They accused me of having taken it somewhere else and insisted I was lying and had it in an accident and trying to pull a fast one on them. They refused to fix the bumper and so I am now stuck paying the bill for their incompetence. -Numerous times I brought the car in for service and they would forget to do half the work resulting in me having to go in the following day again. Buyer beware, these guys are crooks. I'll never a Honda from them again. read more

I have never see any other company treat customer badly like Honda Moncton if you want waste your time with the dealers that they cannot help you anything visit Honda Moncton. They wasted my time I tried to call different departments eg: reception, service manager and same dealers when you call them they ask you to live voice message but they never call u back. I gave them all my information after that they don't pick my phone when I went to the office the told me that the guy who is working on ur file is off etc they are always give me excuses. this dealership tries to steal your trade from you you will not get a good deal here I saved 4 grand at another Honda dealership. Also one of their salesmen Matt was very rude even called my house very ignorant when I refused his offer. I phoned the manager and never even heard back. read more

Beware of Moncton Honda.. We are looking for a summer fun convertible and answered an ad posted by MH listing a VW Beetle convertible for $19,998 +tax and license. There was mention of a $700 discount on financing, which mattered not to us as were were buying outright with no trade. I called was connected with a salesman JM, advised him we are very interested and booked a 1PM appointment to view next day. He was to send us some pictures he would take of the roof but when he called stated the car was covered in snow and he would sort that out for tomorrow. We drove the 1.5 hr to MH arriving 15 minutes early only to find the car still outside and still roof covered with snow. He advised me he had texted to see if we were still coming and I pulled my phone out of my coat pocket and acknowledge the text but advised I don't text while driving. We took the car for a test drive, really liked it and returned to MH to deal with the confirmation that the roof operated properly and then close the deal. JM brought the car into the shop area of the garage to hose off the roof with water for better inspection. (NOTE: this is a very large dealership and there was not one car in any of the repair or clean up bays leaving me to question why this car was not "in" overnight) We attempted to operate the roof and he stated he didn't know how to operate it and couldn't get it to open. A review of the owners manual identified the roof will not operate below if car is -10 and the cars dash identified it was registering -12. (another good reason the car should have been "in" over night) We press on because we really liked the car. We decided he would continue on with the purchase process and finish the deal when the car was warmer and the roof confirmed. We next went to his desk to finalize the deal. We advised we liked the car, we several times made the salesman JM aware that we were buying the car strait out, no trade no financing. We offered 18,500 plus tax and license and eventually got to 19,000 plus tax and license, NO TRADE, NO FINANCING. a difference of $998. JM was back and forth with his sales manager and continued to press for us to finance???? A one point after returning from the sales manager JM advised he was told to get us to put %90 down and finance the rest???????????? Thats when it became abundantly clear to me Moncton Honda's game. They make their money on the financing charges..they wanted a financing deal at all cost...%90 down??? Don't get me wrong, I understand a company needs to make profit, I get it, they get to set their price, absolutely...take it or leave it...BUT and it's a BIG BUT to me....then advertise HONESTLY....they never once planned to sell the car for $19,998. That price is only if they get you to finance and fleece you with additional finance charges, finance insurance, early payout penalties what ever other scams they have in place. They bait and switch, get you in the door with a lower price only to "hook" you on the real game FINANCING. Review....poor customer relations, poor quality salesmanship, bait and switch unethical dealer, false advertising...too bad, we were gonna get by the salesman who didn't know his craft because we liked the car. Oh and there were documents in the glovebox identifying the previous owner which is an issue of privacy which we have relayed to Honda Canada. End of the day, if your buying a vehicle and are financing they will seem ok, but under the surface I don't think their ethics are in tact. SHAME on Moncton Honda. read more

Purchased a Honda Civic here, it's a wonderful car. My experience there was subpar. I felt like I wasn't really valued; I feel like they only really cared about my money and not the product they were selling. I got the Civic because it was the car I wanted and they did indeed have the best deal around for that car, but unfortunately they do need to do some investing and training in there customer service department m. read more

They treat you like you're disposable and have a take it or leave it attitude. I had the misfortune of having to deal with one of the sales people, who seems to think he's doing the customer a favor by talking to them. read more

The garage staff are friendly but the wait times on the phone are SO SO SLOW. I've almost left messages in the past and not once has anyone ever gotten back to me. They could really do with having more receptionists, and/or someone taking phone calls in the service department. read more

Service is terrible bought an oil change package girlfriend brought car in and they proceeded to tell her she needed a pile of unnecessary repairs wasted money on oil change package never used will not only never use Honda again will never recommend any service and go out of my way to tell as many people as I can how they can't even do a simple job as change the oil without trying to up sell you read more

I have had my Honda serviced at several dealerships, twice in Moncton. They were the best among the three dealerships I've visited. Every dealership pushed for the most service they could get. This was the same when I had a Hyundai; know your car and what you need to do to maintain your warranty. read more
