We had a very good dinner here, beginning with complimentary Black and Green Mediterranean Olives, onions, and a gherkin nicely spiced up with a pepper, along with very good Cracked Bread and butter. For me this was followed by a tasty Caesar Salad of very mixed greens, Cherry Tomatoes, the surprising addition of white meat morsels of chicken, anchovies, croutons, and a creamy Caesar Dressing.
For a main I was given special permission to order a 1-person Seafood Paella, which tasted good with mussels, prawns, calamari, Green Bell Pepper, and languostine. But the included rice was a bit hard. Diane was initially served the wrong dish because of a communication problem, but this was soon remedied, after which she enjoyed Grilled Veal with Bearnaise Sauce and fries. (She likes Bearnaise on virtually anything!)
Service was very good, and the ambiance nicely informal along Barcelona's principal pedestrian boulevard Las Ramblas. read more
