Mona is fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone looking to get their eyebrows done! Mona is kind, professional, never rushes and is a total expert in her field. I've regularly gotten my eyebrows threaded by her for the past few years and couldn't be happier with the results. read more

Love my brows every time I get a clean up threading! Great pricing as well! Mona is very nice and welcoming too!

Albeit a little difficult to locate tucked behind a strip in a business park disguising salon suites (I had to use Waze, finally), I found Mona's on my lunch break this Friday afternoon for a quick thread of my brows. I'd not found a go-to brow joint since moving to St. Charles. Let me say, she's a one and done for me! I only went in to get my brows cleaned up and on point, but after asking if I used gel or powder to fill them in (yes), she asked if I'd like her to dye them with henna. Insert ominous music here. Now I've been threaded a million times since Sunday since my Pakistani friend enlightened me to the world beyond waxing in 2000. But I've never been suggested henna. I made Mona promise it wouldn't be too dark and she did. Do not fear, henna virgins, it DOES look dark at first (I should have done this on a weekend when I didn't have to go back to work, ha ha) but once you leave it on the recommended 24 hours and take a shower...magic! I CANNOT believe I haven't done this before. I'm a believer! Hope it really lasts the two weeks she predicted it will or I'll be seeing Mona frequently. Not bad though at a $13 price tag. She's great, you won't regret it! read more

Mona is amazing! She is a true artist! I always feel so good when I leave! Mona's spot is inviting and super clean and inviting. I recommend her 100%! Treat yourself!!! read more

I have had my eyebrows threaded here twice now. First off, the building is a little difficult to find. So, if it's your first time visiting, I would give yourself extra time to find the door! Despite having an appointment, I've had to wait in the waiting area both times. However, it usually hasn't been that long of a wait. I have been happy with my eyebrows after each visit, but the service is pretty pricey. I believe it was $11 or $12. Previously, I used to pay about $8-10 for eyebrow threading. I will continue to go here unless I find somewhere closer to my home in Geneva! read more

I don't think I've had one time coming here that scheduling wasn't an issue. I have always scheduled earlier in the morning and on several occasions, I received a text that she was running late, so I have to sit there past my appointment time. Excuses as to why she was running late always changed. Today, I made an appointment for 11:15am and show up a couple minutes early to see the studio closed and lights off so I call and she said they decided to close today, even though I was able to schedule an appt online. She said she texted me, however, when I asked what number she contacted it was the wrong number so I never got a notification. I am so sick of wasting time coming here - I'm done. Be warned. read more

mona is the best eyebrow tech I have ever had. she gets them absolutely perfect each time && I recieve so many complements on my brows daily because of her!! I would never switch brow techs. also she is so sweet! read more

Mona does great work! She built my confidence back up with my brows. Was also in and out less than 10 mins.

This was my worst eyebrow experience. I have either waxed or threaded my eyebrows for the last 20 years in different places with pretty good results. I have simple requests to shape lightly and to not thin out the brows too much. I also asked to either leave the middle space the same on each side, or make it more even, if possible. She made the middle more uneven than it was, and the space between my eye and eyebrow is now a gigantic space, wirh skinny eyebrows. It looks really scary and I don't know if my eyebrows will grow back at this point. My most disappointing salon experience in my life. This woman DID NOT LISTEN TO MY SIMPLE REQUESTS. read more

Today was my 5th visit for eyebrow threading.. I told Mona that I DO NOT WANT AN ARCH before she started. But she still did it. I am not pleased. I know, FOR HER, she like the way it looks now but she should consider to listen to her clients. I want to feel pretty and doing her way did not make me feel pretty at all! I know my eyebrows look decent but THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED. I tried to speak up but she kept on telling me "it will be too short"!! I hope she reads this comment and know that I am not happy to look at the mirror. To her, I might look pretty with this eyebrow but whenever I look at myself now I DONT FEEL OR SEE PRETTY BECAUSE THIS IS NOT SHAPE I LIKE FOR MY EYEBROWS. I am frustrated. read more

My eyebrows are now nice and even. Beautiful job. I was a walk in and it was nice and quick. Clean place too.

Mona does a great job doing brow and face threadings. My brows looked great! The atmosphere of her space is also great, the space is clean and pretty + she plays relaxing spa music. I am a loyal customer read more

Mona always does an amazing job on my eyebrows. I always leave pleased with the service.

I was very disappointed in the service. Though she was nice, there were several issues that had me end up giving 2 stars. I called to schedule a blowout, when I arrived I was asked if I needed my hair washed. My hair was dry and unwashed so I thought this was an odd question for a blowout. After washing my hair she dried it straight with no round brushing my hair to add volume (which I had asked for) or curls. (Which I also asked for) As she's drying my hair she never parted my hair where it should be. When I mentioned it, I ended up having to part my hair myself. Since she dried my bangs last, my bangs did not style or lay nicely (I will now need to redo them myself). She added curls with a curling iron afterwards. Then I was getting pushed out the door because of her next appointment. Overall, the worst part was the time it took (1.5 hrs) paired with the excessive charge ($80). I have gotten plenty of blowouts and they are usually $30-$40. Even if I was charged extra for curls, my prom hair cost me $60. Since I was being pushed out the door for the next appointment I have no clue what cost $80. I have been to salons that charge $75 for cut and highlights. I really don't recommend and will not be going back myself. read more

Mona's Threading & Beauty Studio - Threading Services Near Me - St Charles, Illinois

Waited 15 mins and decided to leave. Will let my friends know too. Very unprofessional- she did not let me know she was running late when arriving, just rushed me to waiting room. Normally this would not upset me, but when making an appointment and during a work day, I would think she would respect time. She did offer me free service on her and called when her other apt was done- but am from out of state and do not have time to return. read more

I discovered Mona through Groupon and decided to give her a try about a month ago based off of the pictures she had posted on her website and her reasonable prices. I returned again today so with that being said.... I loved her services she provided!!! Her work is amazing. I feel like a new person after getting my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. She listens to what you want and doesn't just automatically do what she thinks will look best. I will definitely keep coming here! It's worth the drive for me. read more

Mona is the Brow Queen! Friend recommended her for years but it was a drive for me so I put it off and suffered from asymmetrical brows for years which affected the proportions of my face. She took the time to listen to what my concerns were and literally restored symmetry and gave me the best brow shape I've had ever! She's patient, kind, and precise! Ive recommended her to my other friends and they've loved her and that drive to her is totally worth it! read more

Mona did a great job. It was difficult for me to find the place since I just moved here and the business is in a suite. I was impressed with her work. I had been going to the same place for about a year and a half and this was the first place I went to see. No complaints. read more

Mona's is located in a beauty salon suite complex and very easy to find. She gladly takes walk ins but I always call before heading over. I've only come for eyebrow threading ($10) but she offers haircuts, make up applications and a few more services. Her threading skills are spot on! She so meticulous and thorough! She takes her time and often suggests other services for you. My eyebrows are always on point everytime I come to Mona! She also offers a punch card for her loyal customers! Closed Sundays. Otherwise Monday's 10:30-6:00 and Tuesday's-Saturdays 10:30-7:30. read more

Mona is so damn good at what she does! She stares at your eyebrows and just knows exactly what you need!!! Today was my second time here and the first time she had suggested the eyebrow tinting because my eyebrow hairs are so light, of course as an normal person would do I hesitated and told her I would think about it. Today she said the same thing and I let her talk me into it. I AM SO MAD I DID NOT LISTEN BEFORE. My eyebrows are now on fleek I have had really bad eyebrow experiences from people waxing my life away to people poking holes where they shouldn't be poking. Eyebrows are everything!!! You look at someone's face and the first thing you stare at are their eyebrows. If you have had bad luck in the past, COME HERE and let Mona thread your worries away read more

Great eyebrow threading place! Reasonable pricing too! Mona does an excellent job!!!! She takes her time doing eyebrows and does a good job. I found Mona's by doing a yelp search for eyebrow threading in Saint Charles. The reviews were great so I decided to try her out. Mona was able to take me on as a walk-in. It had been about a month because when someone messes my eyebrows up, I let them grow back in so they can be done right. Mona was able to thread my eyebrows evenly, didn't take too much off (leaving them thick) and they look great. I live in Schaumburg but will definitely visit Mona again. read more

I went in for an eyebrow threading. Specifically made sure to ask for her to leave my eyebrows thick and she left them very thin. They look so bad and so thin now. I'm not used to having thin eyebrows so I was left very upset and very disappointed. You can see the bumps and white lines in the picture attached that shows you how much she took off of my eyebrows. read more

Came here based on google reviews and yelp EXCELLENT REVIEWS! I was tired of getting my eyebrows always thin since I have thick eyebrows so after reading at least of 35 positive reviews I said I have to go!! Went with my sister today and we LOVED IT! Had never had my eyebrows looking as amazing as today, I for sure will keep going back! So if you are reading my review kinda thinking if you should give it a try let me tell you.... YES YOU SHOULD! Thank you Syeda (Hope I got it right) read more

Mona is super friendly. The eyebrow threading is amazing, doesn't even hurt and has great prices! Most definitely recommend!

This was my first threading experience and it was awesome. Mona immediately put me at ease and I felt like I had known her for ever - already! She took lovely care of my eyebrows and suggested filling them in with henna after a lifetime of bad wax jobs by other salons. Such a huge difference! I can't wait to go back. Reasonably priced - no more than waxing, and she cares, and the salon suite is adorable and comfortable! If threading ends up lasting as long as waxing, I'm sold on it forever. And for sure, Mona is the lady to do it. read more
