The Kingpin Suite provides exactly that and I had such a great night here. I hired the venue for a work event so we had sole use for the evening but on most nights it is open to the public (you will need to book ahead). The food was great and very American style with mini burgers, hot dogs, pizzas and canapes. The bowling lanes are great fun and the karaoke room is sound proof meaning that it does not disturb the live music in the main room. The karaoke system is also of a high quality and has the largest collection of songs I have ever seen! There is also a hot tub which seems like a bit of an unusual addition - I didn't try that one out! The bar staff are friendly and at around £3.50 for a glass of wine the prices are reasonable. The venue is actually very difficult to find however as is also located in the same building as the Bloomsbury Lanes so it can get quite confusing when trying to locate the place. Kelly dealt with my booking and was fantastic - she made the day run as smoothly as possible and everyone had a great time. This would make a great venue for a Christmas Party.

Besides bowling there is karaoke, ping pong, foosball, good sound system and a surprisingly good bar. Good was great and as I mentioned the staff was fantastic.

Very disappointing customer service via email!…read more I was issued a voucher by email on 20/01/26, but it showed an expiry date of 31/12/25 -- already expired. I contacted customer services simply to confirm whether the voucher would be valid for a booking at Holborn on 14/03/26 (my birthday), or to request a corrected replacement code if not. Despite multiple emails, the same staff member repeatedly avoided answering this very straightforward question. Literally just writing one liners! I was told "this should be fine" and "yes as it was issued 20/01/26", but there was no clear confirmation that the voucher would actually be accepted on my booking date. When I asked for clarification or for the query to be passed to someone else, I was repeatedly asked to forward the original email instead of receiving a direct answer. All I wanted was written confirmation I could rely on before making a booking. The lack of clarity, accountability, and basic reassurance has completely undermined my confidence in using the voucher at all. Poor communication and an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I'm thinking of going elsewhere!!!

It was slow at this point, so no reason we shouldn't have been checked on by this point. So my fiancé gets up to ask if we should be sitting somewhere else, finally we're seated in a different area of the restaurant. There are 2 servers working and you can see it's a little busy but not terrible. We literally wait 15 minutes to be acknowledged - by the manager - who doesn't apologize for the inconvenience. We put our order in with him - the drink is yummy, but the food wasn't worth paying money for. One of the saddest salads ever, so small and there were literally like 7 pieces of lettuce. It was nice presentation, but that's not a salad if there's far more toppings than lettuce! Our drinks were empty for at least 15 minutes and the servers and managers kept walking by but wouldn't acknowledge us. I would have gotten another drink but I never got the chance to. Never did we feel like it was a hospitable environment.

Each dish has been paired with a different beer to harmonise with its sweet or savoury notes, but diners are not restricted to this suggestion. Given that one of London's pet beers, Gamma Ray from Beavertown, was included in the package, it's probable that diners will only opt for this. But they're welcome to work their way through the drinks menu. Other drinks available in the offer include Steven's Point Amber Lager, Cerveza Pacifico Clara, Boulevard Brewery Single Wide IPA and a syrupy beer cocktail, the Brooklyn Breakfast. The dishes are on a pretty typical spectrum, including pancakes, salt beef hash and eggs and avocado on toast. We booked a table for a large group over a month in advance at the Westfield Stratford location, but we were advised on the day that there was no reservation under our name. After some confusion, staff pulled a cluster of tables together to accommodate us. We were placed adjacent to an overexcited group of children in the front of the restaurant, which wasn't ideal for a group of childless adults who were boozing. The atmosphere was fairly disordered towards the back of the venue, where the bowling take places, and diners have to snake through groups (again, primarily children) who are changing their shoes in the path of the washrooms. Our waiter was very accommodating and lively, making efforts to ensure that we were never without libation. The food was commendable as well- I had the chicken and waffles, which arrived in a shallow dish with a jug of maple syrup on the side. The fried chicken was on point with a crispy buttermilk shell and a moist centre, piled on several sections of fluffy golden waffle. I asked for the treacle-cured bacon on the side, and frankly didn't miss it- I pawned the two shrivelled slices on to my boyfriend. The chili butter didn't add anything for me either, but another diner professed to enjoy the subtle heat that it contributed to the dish. This was the most popular dish across the group, but the salt beef hash prompted equally positive reviews and looked great. The pancakes were reported to be slightly dry, but were still happily eaten. The bottomless craft beer option costs the price of a meal (approximately £10 per dish) and an additional £19 for the drinks package. It isn't a cheap brunch option, but bearing in mind that a single can of Gamma Ray is listed at £5 each in the menu, it proves good value if you have more than 4 rounds. The drinks option is valid for a period of two hours only, so there's plenty of time to work through 4 x 330ml cans. With the heartier plates worked in, that amount of drink won't go to your head and we didn't feel rushed to imbibe, but there's always intense pressure to get value from a bottomless package. I think we managed about 5 or 6 cans each across two hours. The environment is predictably frenzied and diners should expect a high proportion of children during the earlier brunching slots, but the package is available until 4pm. Be prepared to hail over waiters at any given opportunity to get another round, but they will happily oblige. The food is satisfying and I approve the concept of the beer brunch- I did try all of the drinks on offer and was happy to revert to Gamma Ray for most of the session. The Brooklyn Breakfast was much too sweet for my palate and I'd advise to stick to the beer.

The venue is cute and clean, and they were pretty good about making sure everyone adheres to the booking times. The hour we booked flew by - with six people on our team, we only managed to squeeze in one game. But that's a pro and a con: it's a busy venue, so we were always checking the clock to see how much time we had left. It was actually a bit of a killjoy. It's a nice experience, but I felt that everything -- including the food and the cocktails -- were overpriced. I know that's the trade-off you make for having a central location, but I would have preferred to have a more old-school bowling alley experience, even at the cost of having to travel farther out... you know, the kind where you goof around with a few close friends while putting away onion rings and beer into the wee hours of the night while "Roxanne" plays for the fifth time over the speakers. I don't need my bowling to be glamorous, but I suppose that's a personal preference.

Is anyone really very skilled at bowling? In some sports, the older you get = the better and more skilled you get... in the case of bowling, the older you get = the more you goof off and drink up which is actually perfectly convenient here because of the large, fully stocked bar area. Bowling at Number 10 is a multifaceted event applicable to family fun, a great kids party, a preteen flirt fest or an adult's drinking game so Number 10 can be filled with a variety of different people on different agendas which I think adds to the charm. They have bowling specials like "buy 2 games get one free", the ever popular Blacklight Bowling and there are special discounts during certain hours on odd days. My best advice would be to check the website before you go~ there might be a coupon! All the screens are bright & modern and there are lane bumpers and ball slides available for those novice bowlers not confident in their follow through. Also, if you decide to forgo the challenge altogether, there are many arcade games to enjoy, no dance floor but a good mix of music playing and always some sort of sport viewable on the TVs in the bar area. One of the best features I find is the security at the door. The guard does not allow great big groups of youngins to come and loiter around without adult supervision. I know that makes me sound like a mean old lady but that's a risk I'm willing to take because I loath anarchy and they are usually the culprits. Definitely a great way to fill a few hours with friends, family or for a fun birthday idea!
