Everything looks promising as you drive up to the clubhouse, a nice building set well back from the road and things get better as you tee off. The course begins with a short par4, then a longer par 4 and then a truly evil pair of par 3 holes set on the side of a hill. These are by far the best holes on the course and it's a shame they come so early in the round as the rest of the course is fairly uninspiring. Most of the holes from here on seem a little bland and lacking in character in comparison. That's not to say they are bad holes, it's just that after the elevation changes of the first few holes it's a bit of a surprise to suddenly be out on a very flat course with few feature holes. I did enjoy my round here but I probably won't be returning for the a repeat round. read more
