One of Surrey's lesser known golfing treats. Set high above Guildford this course is a wonderful and fair challenge to any level of golfer. From start to finish every hole has something about that makes it stick in your mind be it the huge dip on the first, then temptation to try and drive the forth or the hard slog up the steep approach to seventeen. Needless to say that being so high up the wind plays a huge part in how tough the course plays on any given day and this is also part of its charm. No two days are the same and you're constantly having to think about each shot. At the end of the round, the clubhouse offers a welcome rest with a nicely refurbished bar and restaurant and a well stocked pro shop if you've lost a few balls along the way. If you haven't played here then you've missed out on something special. read more
