I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease (Sarcoidosis) in the beginning of 2011. Since then it has been a long and difficult journey to a recovery. Chiropractic care was new to me, but I decided to try it after the side effects of western medicine (Prednisone) made trying to live a normal life even more difficult. My whole life I have always been that person that gets a cold or illness very easily, and I've always wondered why. I've been seeing her now once a week for almost 3 months and even after the first visit I felt an immediate shift in the way my body functions. I was getting information to recommend a friend to Monarch Chiropractic and was shocked to see 4.5 stars instead of 5. I have seen Monica and her brother Matt of Egan Chiropractic and love them both and highly recommend both. They have different styles but both are the most gentle and effective of any of the many chiropractors I've seen over a thirty year period. I read the 3 star review and find it very upsetting that anyone would tarnish a person's excellent reputation because they encountered time constraints. If Monica takes walk-ins that back up her schedule it is because she wants to help people in need. What doctor appointment anywhere is a quick in and out? Healing takes time. Patience is a virtue. Dr. Egan is a gifted healer. I'm a nurse and have had migraines for nearly 10 years now. The debilitating pain I had for several months this year (Aug-Oct) was so bad, I felt myself sinking into a depression. I was having migraines lasting 3-4 days every week. I was always out sick and unable to work. One day, I couldn't move my neck without pain and I was just feeling so desperate for pain relief. Before I began seeing Dr. Monica Egan for chiropractic care I had suffered from a variety of aches and pains for the better part of 3 years. I dealt with carpal tunnel, numbness in my hands, shoulder pain and lower back pain on a weekly basis. It has been a little over 5 months since I have been seeing Dr. Egan. My range of motion is improving. The carpal tunnel pain is gone and I the frequency of shoulder/lower back pain and numbness in my hands has greatly decreased. Dr Egan is a life saver. LITERALLY!!!!! She prevented me from having back surgery. I'm 26 years old and had a bad injury and could barely walk, the simplest task of getting out of bed or sitting up or getting up out of a chair was so painful. I refused to see chiropractors from all the bad experiences I hear. I ran into an old school friend who recommended to just give her a try. I met her at a gathering and just talked to her.
