Since Vermont does not have an Apple store or a Genius Bar, this is as close as we get! I was shocked to see negative reviews here, it really suggests a need for customer service training. Kindness and helpfulness go a long way to retaining customers. Patrick Brown himself is a very helpful guy, courteous, patient, and a straight-talker. I have bought my last 5 computers from him. On an unrelated note, I updated to Sequoia and the Find tool no longer finds anything. Zip, zilch, nada. This is CRAZY. Also I get a Bookmarks Syncing error message every 10 minutes with a long page of code that means nothing to me. Every day now since Sequoia -- 20 times a day -- It's awful. Wish Apple would admit Sequoia is a dog.

I prefer to go to smaller stores than the big box superstores when I can to support local smaller business and to get things more quickly- this size has plenty to offer but it's faster than walking through a mega store to get a few screws or a new tool. 2) selection: hands down, this store has far more in stock than all other Aces and local smaller stores when it comes to power tools/ power tool option models from Dewalt, Makita, craftsman, black and decker and Bosch- among others. Decent selection of most things you could ever need for your projects and household stuff. Any time I've ordered online the order is there and ready. Recommended.

They had 1 paint can on the shelf, but no lid. The price marked on the shelf was $5.99. i picked up a cheap plastic lid hoping she would at least give me a discount or find me a lid so i did not have to buy one, that was supposed to come with the pail. Nope, the empty paint can rang up at 6.99 and she rang up the cover at 2.59 for a total of $9.58 for an empty paint can. I told her to keep it and i would go to Home Depot to get it. IHome Depot price was 6.99 and it came with a cover. I think Hamshaws need to empower their employees, the ability to work with the customer, if there is an issue, like i experienced. I had debated just going to my service provider and upgrading my phone but decided I'd check out repair options first. It was my first time visiting New England iPhone Repair. I walked in the door without an appointment and was promptly greeted by Nick and made to feel that my problems might be solved. And they were; professionally, skillfully, affordably and quickly. Customer service at the outset was very good. I happened to go on a busy Saturday and, while the…read moredelightful person who helped me was multitasking with other customers, I never felt rushed or ignored. I was in from out of town, and was told that Dexter's would ship my glasses and shades for a mere $10. I was very happy with that arrangement. About a week later I received a call from their technician letting me know that my shades came in not-as-ordered and that there would be a delay of over a week. I let the technician know that I wouldn't be upset as long as I could get a discount for pain and suffering. He said he would look into it. A day or two later I got a voice mail and a couple of text messages letting me know that my glasses were ready, and could I please pick them up. I immediately called to make sure they were still planning to ship my glasses. They said they were. When I asked the person to verify my mailing address, she recited a totally incorrect address. Since I'm a firm believer that lots of little mistakes can entail a much larger one, I asked to speak with a manager (Jon) to voice my concerns over this handful of mistakes. He patiently listened to my hysterical yammering, them told me he would make sure everything went smoothly from then on. Jon handled everything personally, I got my very generous discount, and so far I'm super happy. I love my glasses, which were speedily and safely shipped, and now I await the shades. I could really use some good luck today…read more First, they requested a referral from my PCP without even asking me. I have vision insurance, and I specifically told them I wanted that used. Instead, they billed my health insurance anyway. Second, they dilated my eyes again, even though they had done it just a few months earlier. It didn't seem necessary, and it felt like another way to bill my health insurance instead of my vision plan. Then, when it came time to fit my progressive lenses, the machine they normally use wasn't working. Instead of taking proper measurements, the employee just estimated everything by sight. I usually wait about four weeks for my glasses, but these came in after only one week, which immediately made me wonder if something was wrong. As soon as I put them on, I knew they weren't right. I tried wearing them for two days, hoping my eyes just needed time to adjust, but they don't. My vision is cloudy, and the glare and reflections are so bad you can barely see my eyes through the lenses. I have an appointment today so they can "see what they can do." I'm really stressed and hoping they make this right. Wish me luck!
