This place is a joke. They charged me for a full service they didn't do. I went in to get my wisdom teeth out and that didn't happen because I was in excruciating pain the entire time. They charged me for 4 teeth extractions, laughing gas, ext just to cut me open and stitch me up. I called for a refund and they won't give my money back because this place is a scam. I went to the facility on Boyett Road back in January. They tried to x-ray me 16 times before I said no more. My mouth and teeth still hurt. Do not go to this place! The hygienist said she wanted 10 more x-rays after having done 6 already. Something is criminal about the way I was treated. If you value your health don't go there. read more

I'm making the effort to give details of my experience to help you decide if you want to use this dental place. I was looking for a dentist in my Apollo Beach area and gave it a try despite negative reviews I had seen. This place was little further away from me but next to a grocery store & places I can run errands in the sand drive. I started going a couple of years ago. For the most part it was decent service with clean facilities. One thing that I found extremely disturbing and dangerous was how casual they are about taking x-rays. More than once the tech (never the same person on every visit) didn't align things right and got bad results. Each such time they just zapped me with a few more doses of X-rays radiation to get the images. Regardless of how low-dose modern x-rays are, they are harmful to us in many terrible ways. It was also strange how the dental assistants and oral hygienists never seem to stick to this place. Every visit (and I was there many times because my teeth are my pain & financial nightmare but a dentist'$ dream!). But it seems whoever works there doesn't want to stay on. The dentist Dr. E was pleasant and I had no problems with him or Dr. D or the gentleman at the front desk. That is why I ignored the issues above. What made me move from a loyal customer to one writing this blunt review was the hard-nosed penny-wise pound-foolish screw-customer-loyalty attitude of the business desk. This despite my being a patient with $35-50000 of lifetime customer revenue value still ahead! That is thanks to my terrible overbite teeth destroying each other. Basically the money for a new E class Mercedes needs to go into my full mouth reconstruction. I recently had to travel unexpectedly and called to reschedule an appointment. I was told by her that there would a $60 charge. I was surprised. She said it was policy and they had ordered materials for my appointment. I said then keep the material until my new appointment next week. She said oh we will use it on another patient. Uh, ok, then what's the issue? Oh it is policy that if you cancel this evening's appointment we will charge $60 and you'll have to prepay $200 for the material next time. (The material they're obviously always able to use on other patients as she said even if there's a cancellation). I was flabbergasted and said let me call you back. I was actually able to get out of my travel .... but it gave me time to realize something. The people at this business did not deserve any more of my insurance covers money ... and not a dime of the $$$ out of pocket the 1-2 years long project my mouth is going to be. I called back and said, go ahead, charge me $60 for no-show (although I called ahead of my appointment time), and send me all my records to switch to a better provider. She literally said OK. Literally, "OK." She didn't even make the most basic effort to ask me why, or to reconsider. Clearly she cared about her own employer's future income as little as about keeping a loyal customer. Or maybe that is the attitude the dentists themselves have about patients. I hope this helps you decide whether to go here or not. read more

Front desk (check in and check out) were friendly and helpful. Other than that there just wasn't much communication. As far as I can remember, this was my first experience where they took x-rays but didn't actually show them to me. I was told something was chipped and had to come back next day to fix it. Just trusted them since nothing was hurting or bothering me and, again, they didn't show me the xrays. Went back and they asked if I had signed consent the day before. I said I signed stuff but wasn't sure if it was what they needed for that visit. The person (who never introduced herself and I didn't see a badge so no idea who it was) seemed frustrated that she had to look up if consent was signed. *Shouldn't that be done anyways before starting any procedure? She then had me sign the consent. Glad I read it because that was how I found out I had a filling issue and I should be careful with what I eat for 24hrs because, again, after procedure all dentist said was "We're done here" and walked out and nameless assistant walked me to front desk. Not giving me a single piece of instruction or information. I hope whatever was done in my mouth was done well and I don't have problems in the near future. read more

I'm giving this dentistry a 2 star review solely based on the dentist himself. His bedside manner needs a complete overhaul. On my first visit he told me I had gum disease and left it at that. Did not expand on it at all, did not provide any more information. Just left me numb and shocked at the word "disease" and left me to be charged and discuss my plan going forward with the biller. The second time I saw him was for my fillings. Since it was a late appointment they rushed me out of my deep cleaning (which I now absolutely NEED) in order for the RDH and DDS to hurry the process and leave for the weekend. Once rushed out of the deep cleaning, he worked on my fillings and basically left me with my mouth agape and left. No "we're done here, everything is good" nothing. I closed my mouth and asked the RDH "so, is that all? Should I leave now?". It was mind blowing. We're not just a number. It's costly dentistry work we're paying for to be treated so poorly. On the flip side, the office staff has been really nice and I would love to continue to see my hygienist Jameela. I give her 5 stars. I definitely will request a different dentist should I need more work done besides my cleanings. read more

I'm a new patient of Monaco dentistry, and I have to say that in all my dental issues these people are absolutely amazing I have never been greeted(on phone or in person)with such personality,and friendship as I do with Monaco Dentistry (Apollo Beach).the assistants are amazing as well they take such care in your happiness and comfort not to mention their skill levels as assistants you hardly know if with the doctor or not.the doctors are amazing too,believe it or not.they all but bend over backwards for us patients you really do start feeling like family while your there and everyone there makes sure you are happy and comfortable and nothing is to small for them to deal with. read more

Do not use this business. They took 4000 for invisalign all new staff constantly that does not remember what they told you so now I'm paying the price. Kayla (front desk) and Kathleen (the hygienists) are amazing!!!! I received crowns Thursday morning and one came out that night. I was in pain and discomfort. The next morning Kayla was able to get me into the office and Kathleen did an amazing job of repairing my crown! I went in for a routine cleaning with Maria the dental hygienist. She told me how she was a Dentist in Columbian and it start off great however, she started to poke at my teeth causing me to bleed. I truly believe she created a problem that wasn't there, was it for insurance purposes? I was told I needed 2 crowns during my consult by Dr. Joseph Esterley and during my cleaning Maria mentions a replacement crown on my tooth in the back. I've NEVER come in for a cleaning that caused swelling and bleeding. I was hestiate to return however, Sam the owner called me back and assured that I would be taken care of. I went in yesterday and the doctor asked me why I was here not reading my chart. Then he did a cold test that involved taken a cotton ball and applying coldness to certain teeth. NEVER have I had an experimental exam and I come from NY state art facilities. He tells me he THINKS I have a root canal without confirming with an X-ray. Renee took the x-ray after I was told I might need root cancel before getting a crown. He asked me to follow up with Endodontist to confirm that I have a root canal. He came in the room and handed me a prescription without telling me why I need Axomillin. I show up to the Pharmacy and I was given a different patient's prescription. I forgot to mention during my visit yesterday I received a text message when I just sat in the chair for an appointment on 12/28 at 4 pm when I didn't make an appointment and just sat down to talk to the Dentist. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I would NOT recommend this office. read more

I've recently completed long span bridge. It was obvious to me that they are lacking the experience to do a bridge. There are lots of students in this office and felt like I am being practiced on. I did not feel any compassion due to all the pain they inflicted on me and the numerous visits I had to make to correct their errors. I felt that they are all rushing so they can get you out to get the next patient. My recommendation that they need to slow down and show some compassion to their customers. read more

If I could give a -0 I would. I was a new patient. Found it hard to get an appointment through their call center. Finally had to walk into the office to book my first appointment. When I went for my fists visit. It took longer than anticipated. Then they were going to charge me almost 400.00 for a cleaning. I said no so they coded it something different and I got my cleaning. The hygienist was really rough on my teeth. My mouth was sore for a week after my visit. Then today while flossing a filling came out which is probably due to the way the hygienist cleaned my teeth probably loosened it. I called there today to try and get a visit as am going out of town tomorrow for a week. Spoke to the dentist and told her my history and issue. Dentist had a shower to go to so told me to go there right away and she would see me. Immediately after I got a call from someone else at the dentist office and they said it would cost at least 250.00 for the dentist to exam me. Before doing anything else. And pretty much called me a liar saying it was unlikely a filling that came out. Was rude to me. Needless to say I am not seeing the dentist and will not be coming back. read more

Doctor Amrooei and staff are extremely professional.. This was a amazing experience I had here. The doctor receptionist hygienist and all of the amazing staff are wonderful..They all work so well together. I couldn't be happier. The office is beautiful, with all of the newest technology. I was very comfortable, and they all certainly took great care of me. I feel extremely lucky being a patient here.
