Most pain ever. Very scary. Both crowns need extra work. I am forever scared of dentists.

My dentist, Dr. Kernagis, and his assistant Beth are amazing! I'm so grateful I came here for a consultation to improve my smile. My experience exceeded anything I could have imagined. I feel honored to share how happy I am with my care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.

Dental Excellence at Fishhawk provided me with a level of care unmatched by any other dental office I've been to. From making the appointment to walking out after my appointment, I received such compassionate care from everyone I encountered. The receptionists were understanding and informative when I called explaining my anxiety and offered various options to help. Renee, the hygienist, is an ANGEL on earth, I am sure of it. She took such meticulous care of me! From offering me a blanket, water and music to putting Vaseline on my lips when they were dry. Every few teeth she would check in to see how I was feeling physically and mentally. Originally I had intended to receive nitrous oxide but after spending time with her during the xray portion of the exam, I felt so calm I opted to skip it. She took it a step further and educated me so fully about everything we were doing that day/ my X-rays, what they meant and what the future would hold. I have never had someone so throughly explain tools being used, what step of the appointment we were in, what she was doing and educate me about what is going on inside my mouth. You can tell Renee has the patients best interest at heart and that she truly sees the value in communication and educating. Dr. Kernagis was very kind, informative and patient. He took time to discuss options for treatment down the road, questioned why I had anxiety around dental visits and provided various options to help ease any discomforts. No other dentist has ever taken the time to discuss my discomforts and provided a means to work through them. All in all, I cannot recommend this office enough and actually look forward to my future visits!

Dr. Reid's staff is the best I've seen at a dentist office. They really do care about their patients, and it shows! On my first visit, Dr. Reid explained everything without being condescending or patronizing, like other doctors. I suspected I had a gum's issue going in, but Dr. Reid was the only doctor who thoroughly explained how that came to be, and suggested we get on a visit schedule that would help me improve. At that time, everything was explained to me in detail, and an estimate of charges was provided before moving forward, which turned out to be right on point. I also wanted Dr. Reid to recommend a possible orthodontist for braces, and I learned via his staff, that he did fast braces in his office! Now, instead of selling me on the braces right away, Dr. Reid asked me to wait until my gums improved before moving on to braces, which I found honest and caring. Any other doctor would've jumped at the chance to make more $, but not Dr. Reid. He knew that in order for the braces to work successfully, my gums needed to be better first! I knew right then I'd found my dentist! If you are looking for a no-nonsense, caring doctor, who is well versed in all things dental, then Dr. Reid is your man! I've never enjoyed my dentist visits until now. You won't regret it.

Luckily for us, we found A&S Dental on our first try. Since day one, the dentists and staff have been a joy. Everyone is professional, friendly, and effective. We have had cleanings to crowns and the experience has been nothing less than wonderful. The people are personable and treat us like family. The services are top notch. The office is clean and welcoming. Appointment reminders and accurate billing information are important components of this office. So, going to the dentist is actually fun! We can't recommend A&S Dental enough.

I give this office no stars (have to give one in order to post). I had an appointment set up to…read morefill my cavities in May. The owner/husband of the dentist told me to bring a letter saying it's okay to get the dental care being that I was in my first trimester of pregnancy. I brought the letter from my PCP since I didn't have a prenatal care visit yet since it was too early. When I get there the dentist assistants told me that letter isn't good enough and I could sign a waiver to get the x-rays done but basically scared me out of it so I said I would wait. When I finally get my letter from my prenatal care doctor 2 months later I call and I make an appointment SPECIFICALLY to get my fillings done. I asked the girl SPECIFICALLY on the phone (front desk girl with birth mark on her forehead) can I get my fillings done after I have my x-rays? She said yes. I get to my appointment 10 minutes early and fill out some paperwork, I wait AN HOUR to be pulled to the back and they take all the x-rays (this took 5 minutes). The dentist came in to tell me about the x-rays and I said I just want to get my fillings done, she said we can't do that today. I said what do you mean I specifically made this appointment to do that. The dentist said well it took so long to do your x-rays and we're booked. I got out of the chair and said I'm leaving. Now upset and frustrated and pregnant with raging hormones I'm really upset crying on the side of their building. My mom pulls up a couple minutes later, I tell her what happened and she goes in there and says how do you book an appointment for my daughter to get her fillings done and not do her fillings? They front desk girl said okay to my mother like they were going to do them so I go back in and she pulls me to the back to tell me again THEY OVERBOOKED, not my fault, theirs for not knowing how to schedule...so I get even more upset and raise my voice, the "owner/husband" to the dentist comes back there yelling and telling me what I can and can't do and I did start cursing at that point, he said, "I'm the owner and you can get out". I said that's fine and I won't be coming back. I leave and ask my mother to get my dental records and she goes back in to get them, they tell me to come back in, she said how dumb is that you kicked her out and now you're asking her to come back in? When I go back in the office the "owner/husband" is pointing his finger very threatening like in my mother's face and telling her she needs to get an education, and telling her she can't do anything with a Bachelor's degree and that he's from Europe as if he is better than us. He was demeaning, disrespectful, and very customer unfriendly. The whole time he is going off his wife "the dentist" is just standing there saying nothing just looking. I am explaining to the dentist (still saying nothing as if she is scared of her husband) that I have been there over an hour, I'm pregnant and they sit there and tell me I can get my x-rays done and then my fillings just to tell me they can't do it because they overbooked, the only smart one was the other dental assistant who said, "that is very understandable that you're upset" and the front desk girl had the nerve to say she never told me I could get my fillings done as if my pregnant self would sit there for over an hour for just some x-rays. Not to mention they did not give me my FULL dental records. They only gave me only 2 pages and that included one x-ray and a bill for possible services in the future which I've had at least 2 x-rays at their office so they're withholding my records illegally!! I will NEVER go here again and my family members that were going there are not going back either, they just lost 4 customers thanks to their unprofessional, degrading comments and behaviors.
