The floral arrangements he created for my tablescape were absolutely stunning and truly elevated the entire space. Every detail was intentional, from the lush florals and beautiful color palette to the way the arrangements complemented the candles, linens, and place settings perfectly. Paul has an incredible eye for design and balance. The florals were elegant, full, and luxurious without feeling overwhelming. They photographed beautifully and made the tables feel warm, romantic, and upscale. Guests couldn't stop complimenting them. If you're looking for someone who understands vision, execution, and quality, Paul is your florist. His work speaks for itself, and I will absolutely be using Valentine Florist again for future events. The quality and value of his florals are impeccable!!! Highly recommend! -- Stephanie

We finally came around to checking it out and OMG YES. It absolutely is worth the hype. As a lover of egg tarts and someone who is also very particular about it - these have won my heart! I also heard great things about the mango mochi so we couldn't leave without those. Thankfully they still had some in stock. I heard they sell out quickly especially on weekends. Those also lived up to its hype. SO YUMMY! Tastes so fresh including the mangoes. My kiddo who LOVES mango anything loved them so much! My husband also got 2 savory pastries (I forgot what they were called and I forgot to take a picture) and those were yummy too. Perfectly flakey crust just like the egg tarts. We wanted to get sesame balls but they were sold out. Customer service was great. The guy that took our order was very nice. It was pretty busy but he moved through the line quickly. There's some seating inside if you want to eat there. Prices are very reasonable at $2 each for the mochi and egg tarts. The savory pastries were $3. It's located in a shared lot/area. Parking can be tight and limited on a busy weekend day but they have parking right out front for the Eck bakery customers. Also note that if you pay with card it's a 2.5% charge so cash is better if you have it. We didn't but we know now for future. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back. Next time we'll come earlier and get a bigger order and try their other offerings.

Cash only but service was quick and while they are prompt, they do not rush you to decide whether you want one or a dozen egg tarts :) Parking was right off the street but plenty of parking when we went. I hear it does get really busy around special occasions/holidays so please plan accordingly.

The place has a very antique, vintage vibe--lots of charming, random décor that makes it feel like a cozy hidden gem. I ordered a small turkey sandwich, which originally comes with just turkey, cheese, and mayo, but I asked for lettuce and all the extra fixings. They added everything just the way I wanted. I also got a cup of chicken and rice soup, chips, and it came with a cookie. My brother ordered a medium Ultimate BLT, the chicken tortilla soup, and a side salad. We also grabbed drinks--though options were limited to sweet tea, lemonade, or water. Altogether, the bill was around $40. Once we sat down, the staff brought our food out quickly. Service was great the whole time. The medium sandwich was huge--definitely explains the price point. The small sandwich was a good regular size, but if you're really hungry, go for a medium or even a large. My brother loved his meal (he's visiting from San Francisco, so that's saying something!). I personally didn't care too much for the chicken and rice soup, but everything else was solid. The salad came with ranch and was fresh. It never got overly crowded while we were there. They also sell frozen casseroles and other goodies, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it's a cute little spot with good food, generous portions on the sandwiches, and friendly service. So, I felt the need to wait until I had time to style my hair to see what it looked like so that I could post a review about my entire experience with Kevin - from the consultation to styling. I have now styled my hair after his coloring....AMAZING! I have gone to two highly recommended natural hair stylists and was disappointed with the coloring (and out of over $100 both times). I said I'd try Kevin based on a friend. I chose to do the consultation (I recommend it). We talked about what I was looking for in color. He showed me some light colors that had me a bit concerned (being honest). But, it's hair...I live on the edge and went with his explanation that it wouldn't come out that light. I came for my appointment, reiterated the vibe I was going for: noticeable lighter brown with some depth, but nothing too drastic and odd. He took that and ran with it. I had no clue what he was doing while coloring, but he took my 'vision' and threw on a couple of colors to get this AWESOME look! Here's my color! Hair feels fine; no dryness, no breakage so far (and no bleaching). I have no problem paying big bucks for color as long as it's GOOD! This was money well spent. I've gotten sooooo many compliments on this color. I've finally found a colorist that I will allow in my hair a second time!
