I would have been delighted to give this place 0 stars, the food comes from frozen and was as though it skipped the grill, they were "out" of about 4 different items on the menu, I asked for a glass of water 3 times before I got it and it came in a smaller glass than my girlfriends for no reason at all. The fries were over cooked and over salted, her salad came with pieces of chicken even though she said not to, the pieces were small enough that it was obvious the cook had prepared that salad with chicken originally and had taken it out. On top of all this our waitress acted as if she was not only new to this restaurant but new to this world.. If you have the opportunity to see Mom's restaurant on bell farm, I strongly recommend that you keep driving until you hit a McDonald's for a better meal read more

Turkey dinner was great. Only thing I would recommend is that they make their own stuffing! The burger and fries were good, fries tasted homemade as did the burger. Poutine and green beans were good, steak was a touch over cooked. Staff were friendly. Place was clean. Overall a pretty good meal served in a timely fashion. read more

Very disappointed today. Barrielicous Menu did not have one of the meals advertised on the menu. Pork Schnitzsel was also in their main menu. So if you don't have it, why not just block it off both menus, and substitute it with something else, just to make the customer happy. Our waitress was a sweetheart and kept apologizing for something that was not her fault. Actually saw three people walking out because there was no Schnitzel. So cooks, don't blame it on the person who was suppose to take the pork out of the freezer, get creative and make something else, so your customers can enjoy and be satisfied and know that they got a good deal with this promotion that you are participating in. It's really too bad, and Mom's is definitely not what it use to be. Now I understand why it was not busy at all. Another one bites the dust. read more

We had been to Mom's many years ago, for breakfast. We went back earlier this year and were very disappointed. Breakfast was barely acceptable. Not cold (but not hot). Service was very slow. When it did arrive the eggs were not cooked as ordered, but because the service was so slow we ate and left. read more

Mom never made a Schnitzel just flattened in flour, that's how she made liver & she never made a Greek salad topped with olives & mozzarella cheese is is not traditional! The teenager cooking obviously is just doing what ever, but foods are named for a reason! The washroom could use a simple hook on the back of the stall, it was difficult to use holding a winter coat & purse! I won't go back but it's cozy and therefore I'd recommend owner find a recipe to German Schnitzel & Greek salad and use those ingredients otherwise you can just call your salad & veal something else and make it anyway you like however there is an expectation to receive a light and fluffy crushed fried cutlet and a tossed salad in oil & vinegar with feta, tomatoes, onions and oregano! read more

Simply the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I'll try to keep it short but this was actually unbelievable. So we came into the restaurant last night at about 6:45. We were a party of 6. We gave our order about 7 o'clock as we had been waiting for everyone in the party to arrive. Shortly after ordering we noticed that both of the waitstaff working had seemed to have disappeared. There were about 4 other tables in the restaurant at this time one eating the rest waiting on they're meals. At 7:45 one of the tables decides they will go looking for the service staff themselves! At this time it is obvious that there has to be a problem in the back. So finally after a table walks out and another makes the comment " goodluck getting your food" our waitress decides to inform us that "someone in the kitchen has just walked out but don't worry we have 3 people back there now". We hesitate but then say no problem we can wait. Keep in mind 2 of our 6 are children who at this point are getting restless. So we wait...and wait... Finally food is coming..fish and chips one of the children's orders and one turkey dinner (8:15). We wait.... We wait oh 2 more turkey dinners (8:25) we wait.... We wait. Oh kids waffle( 8:30) we wait.. Waitress comes to the table to inform us that all the food at the table will be 50 percent off. "at the table???" so my mom's food (liver and onions) is full price?" we say jokingly seeing as it has yet to hit the table and it is now 20 min after the first meal arrives. The waitress goes red and heads to the kitchen. She returns a moment or 2 later with my mother's meal with more bad news the is no beef gravy!!!!' Ridiculous!!!!! at this point with exception to the children everyone's meal is cold as we have been waiting for my mother's meal to start. My mother refuses the meal. And that is when they decide to offer her some pie insted, she obviously refuses. The food that was served was inedible cold, dry, just disgusting. So I decide to pay the bill. A $69.00 bill to be exact. That was with half off! One person did not even get a meal!!!! And the rest of the entrees were untouched! Basically I'm upset because we were very understanding and treated the staff with respect I even left a $20 tip!!!!!! I should not have had to pay.for those meals. I will not be back. read more

My husband & I went there once we were told my doctor was running behind schedule so the receptionist highly recommended Mom's just around the corner from the clinic, so we went. Place was pretty packed, ( seems to me they're a lot of professionals & patients ) anyhow the staff were wonderful, can't lie. But the food ugh. My 5yr. Old could cook breakfast better. I ordered my fav. French toast but what I got was just 4 plain toast no joke. My hubby got eggs & hash browns, one was over cooked & the other under. Both meals were very cold. Very disappointing. This is a pretty good restaurant, but it's to be expected it's nothing fancy with not a huge selection. When I went in the "busy" time of day there were only a few people there. Despite this it took forever for the food to come. I ordered a burger with fries, as did my husband, and it was very good. read more

Both my husband and I had great breakfasts. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the serving sizes are large. Neither one of us could finish our plates and we were starving walking in. This was one of the worst meals we have ever had. We arrived at Mom's at 12:15 for lunch. When the waitress took our order I was informed that you can' get liver and onions at lunchtime,only for supper. I then ordered the beef dip. My mother ordered the hot hamburger platter,we also ordered 2 soft boiled eggs for my 18 month old grandson. We waited 30 mins. for the the 2 soft boiled eggs. When the eggs came they were hard boiled. Had to ask for some margarine (milk allergy) it took awhile for the margarine to come. When it did come by then the eggs were cold and very dry. It to at least 15mins. for our meals to come. When we did get them they were cold and the roast beef was as dry as dust! Even the the dip which had no flavor was cold and didn't help the beef moisten up. The hot hamburger was by no means hot,it was very salty and over cooked. The waitress saw that we left nearly everything on the plate and didn't even ask if there was a problem. That was 1 hour and 45mins. that we will never get back. Never will we go there again and we will tell everyone we know not to bother either read more
