Aloha, wow, where do I start? I can not sing the praises enough of Momotech808. My technicians today were Lloyd and Kenji and they are the embodiment of the Aloha spirit and way of life. I needed my glass stove top repaired and Samsung kept canceling the order due to shortage in stock. Initially, they set me up with a different company, and I got yelled at, and the lady used profanity when speaking about Samsung. Can you imagine being verbally abused by a customer service representative when you did nothing other than call the number Samsung provided you with? Was I suppose to endure this verbal abuse because they were the only company with the "LAST glass stove top on the island"?? Me thinks, not! I called Samsung and requested them to match me up with someone else. That is when I got matched with MOMOTECH808. What an answered prayer!!  They were sooooo professional and always texted or called me back. They went above and beyond and hung in there with me for SEVERAL MONTHS until the stovetop came back in stock. They never gave up on me and it was worth waiting nearly a year to have them be the ones to do my repair.  I would rather wait to work with someone that has great customer service skills, No matter how long it takes to get in the part, than be abused verbally and allowing someone to come into my home to get the job done in a few days. They will immediately look up your ticket in the system and start working on ordering your parts and they schedule you almost immediately after receiving the part. I HIGHLY recommend MOMOTECH808. AWESOME SERVICE MOMOTECH808!!! Our 2 year old washer, couple weeks ago, decided it didn't want to work properly. It would turn on by itself, motor running, water would fill, but the machine just did not move and it showed CANCEL on the control board. Thank God we had purchased warranty on our washer. As soon as filing the claim with our warranty company, we were contacted by Crystal at MomoTech808 to schedule our first appointment. Lloyd was the first tech to come and check our washer. First Lloyd checked the belt and changed it. Then Lloyd diagnose that it was the control board that needed to be changed. Lloyd ordered a new control board. (Awesome! they had one in stock on island) and we didn't have to wait long. Joe was our second tech. He came to change out the control board. He did it quick and efficient. Our Maytag washer was jacked up making a crazy rumble that would create an error off balance and was stopping the load. The warranty dispatched Joe from MomoTech808. Joe came within their projected arrival time. He was extremely professional and courtesy. Joe had the correct part to fix the machine and took about 10 - 15 minutes with the repair. Four year old LG washer & dryer that I bought from Best Buy and was still under warranty was having issues. Washer was leaking and dryer would end cycle w/o drying. I called the Best Buy warranty number and they assigned MomoTech808 as the service agent. The only problem I encountered was the Best Buy warranty people assigned different service days and times to MomoTech808 and me. Luckily I had called MomoTech808 beforehand and got it straightened out. MomoTech808 were very professional and courteous on the phone and in person. The water leak was just a loose filter. The dryer problem they initially thought might be a faulty electrical board, but after extensive testing, it was determined to be likely incorrect dryer settings (operator error). I saw in some other posts that people had issues with Best Buy and other companies warranty services which also use MomoTech808. I highly recommend you contact MomoTech808 directly as soon as you have a confirmation from your warranty folks to make sure things are right. Kenji is the man to talk to. read more

I feel bad reading some of the negative reviews here. We've used these guys quite a bit for several repairs, using our warranty, on our washer and dryer for different issues throughout the years and fortunately we've been very happy with every repair. We have had quite the range in repair times, but it's just dependent on if they have the part on hand or not. This last visit for our dryer repair from scheduling to repair was done within three days because they had the part so we were so happy! There was another instance where we had to wait 2 weeks for a part to ship in (which wasn't their fault) then another 2 weeks before anyone could come out to complete the repair; however the technician did let me know it was going to take a while because of the shipment delays at the time and some other issues they were having with manning. I simply bought a cheap dryer off Craigslist while we waited for the repair, then sold the Craigslist dryer for more than I purchased it for. So we made some money off that ;) but overall I'm always happy to take advantage of our appliance warranty and have our repairs done with these guys. It beats paying for a new one. :) Prices are getting pretty crazy! read more

So if you purchase an item from Best Buy and have the extended protection plan with Geek Squad you will be working with MomoTech808 for your repairs. I called Geek Squad to schedule an appointment for someone to take a look at a refrigerator that was not working properly. I just purchased a brand new refrigerator in January 2019. Geek Squad scheduled an appointment with MomoTech808 and they couldn't come out until 2 weeks (JULY17, 2020) when that time came they never showed up or called to cancelled. I called MomoTech808 directly and they stated they never got any work order. I had to go INSTORE to Best Buy to have them schedule another appointment and physically see for myself that the appointment was set for another 2 weeks. MomoTech808 finally came out and someone named JON stated that they needed to order a special fan for that appliance and will come in 2 weeks (keep in mind its been a month since I had a working refrigerator). Since August 3, 2020 no one at MomoTech808 has called me back or answer their phones. I left numerous messages and yet no answer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY! They are completely unprofessional and I had to bite the bullet and waste my money to buy a brand new refrigerator from Home Depot. read more

I would like to give a shout out to both Kenji and Joe. The lid hinge on my top load Whirlpool washer was damaged, The washer was still under extended warranty and Kenji came out and replaced it with a new lid. He also noticed that the drum springs were worn and offered to come back and replace those. Two weeks later Joe stopped by at the appointed time and put in the new springs quickly. This is a company that shows it has pride in what they do. MomoTech808 was dispatched by Geek Squad to repair a banging noise in my LG Washing Machine. On their second visit they replaced the shock absorbers (first visit was to diagnose problem). After they left we did a wash and the noise from the washer was much louder. I called MomoTech808 and they dispatched another call to fix the issue. They did fix it the third time onsite. Here's the take away - the indication of a company that has pride and is interested in the customer, is when something goes wrong and how they will perform. It is understandable that sometimes things go wrong and MomoTech808 made it right. They performed in a professional manner and are interested in the customer. My LG fridge was on the blink. I called Geek Squad and was told that Momotech808 would do the service and it was scheduled. I received a call a few days later that they were not qualified to do the type of service needed and Geeks would set up an appointment with another repair service. A few days later, my appointment was scheduled with Momotech, which I don't understand. Long and short is that they never called and never showed up. Took a day off without pay to be home, and was rudely treated. I called them and never received a call back. I had the same problem with A&E Service (Sears). I had a work order made to this company through my warranty service provider. No calls, no show on my repair date, and no calls were returned. Unusual for any type of business to conduct themselves in this manner, very unprofessional. Suggested that my warranty company never to use this business in the future. This has to be some type of scam. Had to go through momotech808 because of the insurance company for my washing machine. The first guy comes to take a look at the machine and say he needs to change a couple of things and they have to order the parts. Once it comes in they will install. 2 weeks later i get a email saying that the part comes in and i have to call to make an appointment. 2 weeks later they come with the parts in hand. Takes a loom and the machine and says that its whole different issue and they need to order the parts again but your machine should work in the mean time. Tried to use it and it is worse than it was and now it completely does not work. Called them back and told them they need to come back and just change the part that they had because it is not working and my insurance company paid for those parts . Said they would come back and did not show up. It seems like everyone else is having issues with them if they are going through the insurance company. I had an appointment with this company to repair my LG refrigerator through my Best Buy Geek Squad warranty plan. They were scheduled for September 10th, between 8am and 12 noon. They never showed up and they didn't call. I called them and left several messages and asked them to call me back. No replies at all. They didn't even have the courtesy or guts to call back. We had a minor problem (the light indicating a burner was on would light up and the fan turn on when the dial was in the off position) with our Samsung range for several months and finally called three places to get it repaired. We used the Samsung website to find a local service that worked on their range and left messages on a Sunday morning knowing we would not get a return call until Monday morning at the earliest. Momotech808 called back early Monday morning and gave us an appointment in a couple days. Another service called us back on Wednesday an the third NEVER called back. The technician came and made a diagnosis in 5 minutes, then said he would order the needed part and install it ASAP if they had it in stock, or install when it came in from Samsung. Once the part came in, they installed it within a day and gave me an estimated quote which was spot on. It did take a while for a bill to arrive, but the estimated quote was accurate. The replacement took only a few minutes. Momotech808 was responsive to my call, efficient in their diagnostic and replacement service visits, and professional in their service. Unreliable. Had an appt. scheduled to have my kitchen aid refrigerator fixed they never showed up never bothered to call.
