I've used it them once before a long while back for my Maytag gas stove so when it went on the blink, I called them again. Unfortunately, the stove was pretty old so there weren't any parts for it. But what I'm impressed about this company is the service. When I called this time, I had to leave a message but I received a call back that day. The woman was super nice and helpful. She looked up the parts and informed me about the unavailability. She also had the tech call me back the next day. He was super nice and honest enough to tell me that it would be better just to buy a new stove (gulp!) rather then have them refurbish it. Although they weren't able to help me, I was left with a good feeling. And when I used them before it was the same and they fixed it enough so that my stove lasted till now. It's a 25 year old stove. Wow these guys are great, I bought my Maytag side by side matching washing maching dryer from them in 1988, still running great :) after about 10 years just minor issues, belts, 5 years after that they replaced my hoses. I love to do laundry and when my dryer started making big noise 2018 they were still able to repair it replaced the drum wheel in the dryer. When you call them like late in the afternoon they come the next day,do a great job and really don't charge that much. Save a ton of money hate to sound like a commercial, but just great that there is a family business out there that can save the day, honest,fair prices quick service!!!! The overall experience was very poor. While the technician Joe was very professional in his demeanor, the person with whom I made initial contact misdiagnosed my problem because he failed to see what was the problem with my washer and or send a technician to see what was the problem with my washer prior to making his diagnosis. He ordered the wrong part which took two weeks, and this made my wife and I wait unnecessarily. read more

Well these folks are the only game in town if you want to fix your Maytag appliances properly, as they are the only Authorized Maytag repair folks on the island. These folks have fixed (so far) 3 of my Roper brand (by Maytag) dryers as all of them would have the same malady of clothes not drying, but still tumbling well after the alloted time has expired. Seems to be a manufactuer default as the dryers are all about the same age and went down a year or less apart. Anyways, these guys are easy to get an appointment with, straight forward and do good work as all my dryers are now back to being the work-horses they are. They always call us (landlords) and get our authorization before they start any repairs, which is much appreciated and not a standard business practice as one would believe. Pricing is reasonable and much more affordable than replacing the unit! read more

Unfortunately they didn't have anyone that could come fix my washer on the saturday it was stuck, but their tech Shawn was able to help me get my washing machine unlocked over the phone. This was so helpful because my roomateneeded her uniform for later that night. They were able to send someone the following Tuesday, and the washer was running again in no time! read more

An unexpected delight! Professional, responsive, knowledgeable and honest. What more do you want in a repair service. When I called with our problem dryer that not only took an hour to dry a medium load but made horrendous sounds, the receptionist asked for the model number was able to tell me that it was 20 years old... and that a technician would be out the next day (can you believe on Saturday! and if he could not, would be available on Sunday!) to see what could be done. Fortunately Joe was here this morning and took less than an hour to tell us the problem and fixed what could be fixed of our old machine. He cleared out the lint on the drum and it's working like a charm -- no clunky sounds and dries our clothes in 1/4 the time! My 23-year-old workhouse of a dryer -- a Maytag from the days when they were built to last -- stopped working properly. ATS had replaced a belt about five years ago and were cheap and reliable back then, so called them today. Glen was super nice and spent a lot of time understanding the problem and trying to figure out what could be wrong. He said it was either the motor switch or the timing mechanism. He had a new motor in stock, but checked on the timing mechanism and got back to me right away to tell me that they don't make them anymore. He advised me that if it was the motor it would cost about $300 and so advised me to consider buying a new one, especially since if it was the timer, I would be wasting money on the call. I hate to see my old dryer go, but considering parts aren't being made anymore, I made the decision to buy a new one. Hope the washer keeps working! Called them regarding a leaky washer. The person I spoke to was really nice, professional, and considerate of fitting my schedule into having the repair person come. It ended that the washer didn't need repairing, so I canceled the appointment. However, I will certainly call them for service if needed. read more

They never answer the phone. I had 3 no shows for service. They ordered my parts for my washer through my insurance company and never contacted me to fix my washer. My insurance company unable to contact numerous times as well. Stay away from this company!!!! read more

My stacked dryer from 2007 was making horrible squeaking noises anytime I ran it. I called Authorized Tech Services and spoke to a person on the first try. The receptionist informed me that the soonest they could come was the next day - wow! That was much sooner than I had anticipated. I shared that I had a preference for a morning appointment so that I could get to work in the afternoon, and they accommodated me to be the first appointment of the day. Joe called promptly at 9:30am as promised to let me know he'd be out within the hour, which he was. He worked quickly and was able to get rid of the squeaking by simply providing lubrication to the gears and a new belt. He noticed that my washer was also making a grinding noise, but let me know that it would probably be pretty expensive to fix so he didn't want to address it unless I agreed to it and he also said that it wasn't urgent and I could evaluate whether or not I wanted to get a new one or repair it in the future. Joe was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be calling again if I have another issue with an appliance! Mahalo for the awesome service! read more

Fast and affordable, even if they are the only authorized maytag repair company in honolulu. On tuesday night, our maytag dryer wouldnt dry (no heat). We called authorized tech services wednesday morning and they said their techs were all booked for the day but a tech would call me by 10am thursday morning to give me a 2 hour appointment window. As promised, the tech called me at 9am thursday morning for a 11:30am appointment so i didnt have to stay home all day waiting. He showed up at 11:20am and brought some parts with him. After verifying no heat from the dryer and testing the outlet, the tech moved the dryer (stacked washer/dryer unit) himself then checked the heating element and found 2 of 3 coils were broken. He quickly replaced the element, reset a fuse that tripped in the control panel, and voila! Problem solved! He then wiped off dust from the unit and restacked the dryer. Tis all took just 45 minutes. The tech was very courteous and even took his shoes off without being asked before entering my home. You'd think that by having a monopoly they'd stick it to you but these guys are great. read more

Joe came & fixed my fridge -which a diff repair guy said needed parts that wd take 7-10 days to order plus I paid $75 just for him to say that! Do not go anywhere else. I called several appliance repair companies and ATS was the only one that promptly returned my call and provided me with enough technical information to help me decide what to do. The technician basically said that it might be better to buy a new range vs. replacing the damaged electronic components. I appreciated his call back, especially knowing that he knew that I probably wasn't going to pay for any repair services. I will certainly use ATS for any repair needs in the future. Excellent service! Our washing machine was broken: maytag, washer dryer combo. The technician asked me a bunch of questions on the phone to identify possible causes. He came in at the time frame he promised, quickly made the repair (as he brought pieces that could be necessary according to my description of the problem) and suggested tips for better care. read more
