The food had a mix of japanese and fusion which was interesting but tasty. Loved the chicken terriyaki and quinoa, a nice healthy alternative. At the beginning the drinks delivery was quite slow had to wait about 10/15 mins for my drinks. Food came out quite quickly though which was good. All the food was tapas for us to share between 2/3 people. The atmosphere at the beginning was quite loud as there was a few groups of girls outside and near the bar shouting/talking quite loudly so spoiled the atmosphere a bit. The cocktails were tasty and had a good happy hour deal for 2 for £12. The waiter that came out was quite attentive and if we needed anything he would go and get it straight away. Would deffo go back for the chicken terriyaki but also see and try other things that are on the menu.

This restaurant is definitely one of our favourites in south London! We will either go for cocktails or a dinner after work during the week since we live close. It is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in clapham and I would highly recommend it to those that like to try something different. Last time we tried the set menu which successfully engaged different flavours, colours and textures together! If remember well they do offers such as cinema tickets and dinner for a very good price, but however visit their website or give them a call before! The staff is generally very friendly and excited although not all times. One of the times we were visiting one of the bartenders had a bit of an attitude trying to force us to order more cocktails or force his suggestion from the menu. We didn't like that! Also, the same person made a comment about us leaving a tip and since we always do we found that unnecessary! We hadn't even paid yet..! Nevertheless in general everyone has been friendly and kind, I would happily go back soon!

Just went to have the Bespoke Party Brunching menu and unfortunately it left me and my party unimpressed. If you go here I suggest you don't get it. It sounds like you're getting a lot of food. A Raw Bar and A Brunch Kitchen servings. What can however was a sharing portion of the Raw Bar (where you have to dip your fork into the sharing bowl across a large table) and a small portion of the Brunch Kitchen (with it's allocated 5 fries & 2 fatty bacon strips). We hadn't finished the first course when they dumped our luke warm second course on the table. They even tried to take my half drunk late away. 3 of my party ordered the bottomless fizz. There was a timer of 1.5hrs bit the glasses were not filled up in the first 30 mins. Overall a disappointing meal which should have been amazing.

Went to Mommi for dinner. Loved the bright decor and comfy corner sofa we were seated on. Started with a 'chicha' cocktail - honestly my new favourite. Vodka, yuzu, pomegranate and orgeat - Comes topped with a cucumber and elderflower foam which was tasty in its own right. The food is split into the raw bar, grill and hot plates and the small plates come out in that order. Everything we ordered was delicious - really well flavoured, nice presentation. There aren't loads of vegetarian options but were enough for me to choose from. My friend also very much enjoyed her sea bass and tuna. Service was quick and friendly. Nice touch of worry dolls with the bill! Would definitely return.

The girls and I headed out for our monthly bloggers brunch club. After seeing newly opened restaurant Mommi in the Timeout Mag, I thought it was a perfect excuse to head out to clapham for a change. With a beautifully sunny day, we made the most of sitting outside - Tip - which makes for better lighting for photos. Mommi is very chic. Their menu follows suit where Japan meets Latin America. We came for brunch however but their main menu of sharing plates also look delish. Something new I tried was the fresh pressed sugar cane raw juice. Now obviously at £3.5 a glass its probably a bit more than you would pay for overseas, but hey this is London. Choosing to be different and having the ginger and yuzu, it was refreshing. Most of the dishes are designed for individual portions, however when you want to try a bit of everything then its also not difficult to share either. The frittata was nice, however I didn't think there was anything that shouted out special. Maybe the yuzu soy mushrooms need a flavour boost. The ceviche was great, fresh and well balanced in flavours. The confit duck dish had a few hits and misses. The egg was perfectly cooked along with the duck, however we found the plantain on this and both the pancakes were severely undercooked and dry. It was not exactly soft enough to eat. This is a real shame, as I am quite a fan of this fruit. We all loved the pancakes. I would without a doubt reorder them. The touch of toasted almonds and the crispy quinoa brings it a deliciously crunchy texture. Overall, Mommi is a great concept. I just think with a tad few changes the brunch can be on a whole another level. The dishes served were all beautifully presented and a great portion size for the price. We were also very kindly treated a glass of bubbles on the side. Went straight after work, so got there in time for the Chef's Special set-menu (£15 each until 6:30), and really enjoyed it.

Walking into the spot, it's a classy and exotic restaurant that features Peruvian style cuisine, and the experience was exemplary. Seated immediately, we were taken care of very efficiently, provided with menus to take a look at and decide what we want, and we decided to try a variety of things. We got all of the items listed below, and they were all incredibly good. Delicious flavor on each and every one of them. My buddy even said the Hummus was the best hummus he's ever had in his life, hands down, and we are from New York and live in Los Angeles so bravo. The corn fritters were delicious as well, the cocktail was brilliantly made, the eggplant and quinoa was delicious and super filling, Feta and Sauce was a nice touch. This spot is a TOTAL 5 star restaurant, and we cleared through the place for a total of 65 pounds. Very do-able for such a classy joint.

We didn't think we would have enough time to dine here during our culinary focused action packed trip. But it was conveniently around the corner from the Ham Yard hotel where we stayed and we strolled in late on a Saturday night after a long day of touring. They greeted us warmly and sat us upstairs promptly even though we didn't have a reservation and it was late and quite packed. The owner made some cocktail recommendations and I settled on the pisco sour and my husband had a spicy drink, I think it was the karay. Both were delicious. For the record, I am not typically a cocktail girl as they're often cloyingly sweet and not well balanced, but these drinks were spot on. We started with all three ceviches...the artichoke vegetarian one and the tuna and sea bass versions. The artichoke dish was very interesting and a bit surprising but tasty nonetheless. The sea bass was delish and the tuna kind of what you'd expect, but solid as well if not overly inspired. I had a salmon entree and hubby had the grilled octopus, both were very good. We really wanted to try the "Andean mess" for dessert..we saw several pass on by to the neighboring table but we were quite full. I would definitely try upon return. In summary, the service and high quality fresh ingredients really make this place a great dining destination. The entrees are not quite as inspired as I would have expected which is why I didn't award the fourth star. But all in all, this Peruvian establishment has service that really cares and food that works well. I would definitely come back or try one of their other establishments.

While it may be a bit on the pricey side, the experience is undeniably worth every penny, especially if you're looking for a night of shared dishes, attentive service, and great atmosphere. the mood is perfect for an intimate dinner or a celebration with friends, as it was when i came here for my birthday! the guac was prepared on the table, and had a great freshness to it, but was not worth the money imo bc it tasted pretty ordinary to me. same for the antichuchos de pollo - they were so small and tasted like regular skewers to me - they had a nice smoky flavor, but nothing that couldn't be achieved at home easily. i liked the trio de maiz, which had many different types of maiz, and was presented beautifully! the dish was very fresh and almost nutty. also liked their take on patatas bravas, which was perfectly crispy and with a delicious creamy sauce. love love loved the tiradito de pez limon, which had the most melt in your mouth yellowtail crudo/sashimi. it was paired with an amazing slightly spicy green chili sauce, and overall flavors were phenomenal. the orange tobiko wasn't there though... the salmon was one of the best things i had that night - perfectly cooked and tender, melty and delicious! amazing flavor pairings, scrumptious overall! dessert was one of the highlights of the meal as well. the churros were citrusy and fried to perfection, and paired with a great sauce. my personal favorite was the passionfruit mango pavlova thing, which had such a bright tartness! everything was served on what looked like homemade pottery, so lovely! the price point seemed a little irrational for what we received, but everything was delicious, and the overall experience was amazing! highly recommend if you're feeling a bit posh or just want to treat yourself!

I'm always attentive to how solo diners are treated in restaurants and was not pleased how I was ignored here for a bit of time. I even had put my coat back on ready to head out. Glad to remove the service charge when the bill came! Anyway she got me in the nick of time so I ordered the corn tamal with kale pesto and the cassava fritters with broad bean dip. I had gotten the tamal at Andina in Shoreditch so I knew I was in for a treat. True to form, the tamal was just delicious: rich roasted corn flavour that was enlightened my the pesto. The only downside was the small corn placed atop the tamal as it was surprising tasteless. The fritters and dip were also quite tasty but the price of £5 is bit mean for the portion but typical of Andina. I was also annoyed the bakery I had trekked here for to get food for takeaway had closed down the previous week, for good it seems. On the plus side the establishment is dog-friendly.
