Price wise, yes it's more expensive than the local kebab shop but what you get here is great flavours and a proper kebab! There's fantastic sharing starters which are good value for money. But I tend to skip those as the main meal portion sizes are massive! Today I had kofte with mixed vegetables and spicy rice. Other with me had handmade chips which looked tasty. The drinks (they serve Effes beer!) are well priced too. Desserts are good value for money but you'll be stretching yourself if you need one! The atmosphere is not bad either particularly when live sports are being shown. Haveli is definitely a place for families and I would recommend this place for someone who is looking to visit a new pub/restaurant. The chicken curry I tried at Haveli was succulent and beautiful to eat. I love my chicken and I was not disappointed with the curry I ate at Haveli. The naan breads also tasted pretty good as well. Haveli also have a function room which can cater for up to 160 people. Large Screen TV's, award winning chefs and a great atmosphere, what more can you ask for from a pub/restaurant. I attend The Red Lion at least once/twice a month and never have I been disappointed. They do have a car park on-site but if there are no spaces, you will have to park in the side streets. The Red Lion is a great place to be when watching live sports and there is plenty of atmosphere at the pub. There is a small room you can hire out for a get together or small party. At times you can get that feeling of being crammed in if the room is packed. But the food does make up for it and the reason I regularly visit The Red Lion is because of the food. Both the lamb and chicken dishes are lovely and they also have mixed BBQ's with chicken wings/legs along with sheekh kebab. There are vegetarian dishes available as well to order. There's a good range of casual restaurants but my top visited place is Prezzo. Good value for money, great quality pasta and pizzas and of course - good Merlot! Also great to bring children here it's wide enough for push chairs so people don't feel it's a stuffy place. Other diners are friendly when sometimes the staff do place us in awkward spots in the restaurant. Room for dessert? Get the Gelupo burger! Also great Lavatzza coffee served.
