"Just when it seems so clear That it's over now Drink your big black cow And get out of here" (Steely Dan) This super cute ice cream parlor with a fittingly cute name was excellent. They had some very interesting flavors - Paradise Blueberry Waffle Cone, Michigan Pot Hole, Carrot Cake, Campfire Smores, Traverse City Cherry Amaretto, Zanzibar, Superman, and Blue Moon for examples. Pricing is very reasonable - a small cup (with two scoops) is just $3.75. It was very tough deciding on a flavor. We ended up with a two-scoop small cup of Carrot Cake over Traverse City Cherry Amaretto. I went with a double scoop of Paradise Blueberry Waffle Cone because I was enchanted by their description - "Premium Blueberry Ice Cream with a blueberry swirl and chocolate covered waffle cone pieces". I loved that Blueberry ice cream; great flavor and those chocolate waffle chunks really added a ton of flavorful crunch. In the name of science, I also tasted the Carrot Cake and Traverse City Cherry Amaretto. The Cherry was excellent and really burst with that sweet Cherry flavor. Molly Moos was excellent.

My family and I came here for a last minute ice cream treat after touring Mackinac island. We found that they had gluten free waffle cones which is amazing for my family. As we have 3 people who are all gluten free. They have such fun flavors that are delicious tasting and amazing! Going on the list to come again when we visit. The two girls who did our service were both very sweet and friendly.

Delicious ice cream with over 30 flavors. Clean and cute shop with indoor and covered outdoor seating. I loved the infamous Blue Moon.

I had the pistachio ice cream & honestly it was the best pistachio ice cream I've ever had! Really!! This little place is right across from the Lake Huron Boardwalk! My hubby had the Butter Pecan & he too said it was the best!! There are several flavors to choose from! They have a nice patio with awesome views!!

Clyde's! Clyde's! I've been wanting to visit this place for at least 10 years. I'd read the…read morereviews, looked at the customer photos of the burgers over and over, check out the menu photos... And drool. But for whatever reason, we'd always put it off when visiting our cottage in Moran, Michigan each June. Then today me, my wife, and our dog Jax dropped in. It was EXACTLY how I thought it would be. Old school drive-in vibe, friendly server, and delicious burgers in the comfort of the family SUV. Even the fries and onion rings were perfect. We ordered a plain burger patty for the dog, and our server even brought him a biscuit treat! Who does that? We'll be regulars every time we visit our Yooper friends in our favorite state from now on. There's a Taco Bell next door. Nobody cares lol. Go there now. Unless they're closed. In which case, wait until they're open. Pay attention people!

The drive up location had open spots so we took one and man we were happy. The waitress comes right to your window and takes your order, brings your food and takes your money. Cash only, but I was good with that. The waitress was very friendly, attentive and busy! She and one other were constantly going in and out taking orders, bringing food and working. The food....OMG! Go hungry if you decide to tackle their 1/2 to 3/4 lb burger. I thought I was hungry until that 1/2 lb burger came. So heavy, but soooo good. If you want a good old fashioned burger, this is it! No wonder they have a legacy and long wait time. Ours was 20 minutes this time. We had stopped another time and went in and found out it was over an hour. We passed then because of time constraints but nothing was holding us back this time. If you have passed this iconic place in the past and not stopped, you're missing out. They have other things on the menu besides burgers, so you should be able to accommodate most people in your group. So good!

Once you start seeing the British Landing signs, you know that you are close to a treat and food refuel. This area on your stop is worth it. There is a small nature area that has bathrooms indoor. Nice views of the water and areas of history to read about. Ton of places to park your bike. Cannonball serves class American comfort foods such as fries, hamburgers, pretzels, corndogs, ice cream, and even fried pickles. My go-to is a corndog and fried pickles - biking 8 miles works up an appetite. Always been happy with my food. There is an order window to the right and pick-up window to the left. Staff are friendly and helpful. The time of waiting in line to getting food is efficient. Is it a little pricey? Of course, again, it is the only place to get food on that side of the Island. To the left and right of the Cannonball has a ton of picnic benches. Must-stop on your journey!
